“And you are sure of this?” Chaerin asked as I saw her choking back tears.

“It is for the best.” Bom nodded, her hand on Chaerin’s shoulder.

“I can understand you. I can completely understand. Did I not do a similar thing ten years ago?” I said as a kind of reassurance.

But what reassurance was this… How could this be happening? 2NE1 is four. Four letters, four members, fourever.

Yes, Minji is young, these 2 years of a hiatus have not helped her. The planned solo debut for her has fallen through multiple times, and concentration has been on Chaerin’s US debut, but it looks like that will be just like Dongwook’s debut, all talk but no bite.

Minji is wasting away at YG Entertainment, and I cannot blame her for wanting to leave.

It was final, Minji would be breaking away from us to do what she felt she needed to do. I want to support her with my all.

As if on instinct, I made my way to the maknae and put my arms around her. “If you feel that you need to leave the agency, go solo or even burn Seoul to the ground, you will always have our blessing and support.” I told her.
