The television was counting down the seconds in the Choi household. My gaze moved from looking at my new family to my husband’s eyes. I smiled at him. “Are you ready?” he asked me.

I nodded, giggling at the anticipation.

The atmosphere began to be filled with shouts of a countdown. Seunghyun grinned at me.

“HAPPY NEW YEAR!” We shouted with the chiming clock on the television.

Seunghyun softly cupped my cheeks and pulled me in for a sweet kiss. “Happy new year Dara!” He smirked.

“Happy new year Seungie!” I replied, smiling.

I couldn’t help wrapping my arms around his waist and burying my head into his chest. “I love you too!” I heard Seunghyun chuckle.

We were celebrating New Years Eve at his family’s house, they kindly invited my family too. My Omma and siblings were delighted to come and be closer to what could be now considered their extended family. “Yah, Dara, we have to go greet everyone!” Seunghyun chuckled, his arm patting my shoulder.

I let go of him. “Arraso.”, I pouted. He held my hand and took a step towards his parents. We began our tour of the family wishing them good fortunes and health for 2010. We were wished success and good health too by our families.

This however, reminded me of our schedules and that we weren’t tied to ordinary jobs, instead we were members of popular music groups. TOP had already begun filming for a war movie and BIGBANG were also scheduled to promote this year, mainly in Japan. We were already planning on releasing some music too, I know sometime in February we’re releasing a single.

A few minutes later I made my way to the kitchen for something to drink. I had already had some alcoholic drinks, but I didn’t want to get tipsy or drunk! That would cause a very bad look for me.

Sighing, I poured some water into a glass. “Dara, I’m going to go check on Inbok, want to come?” Seunghyun asked me, peering into the kitchen.

“Dae, just wait a second!” I told him.

I quickly picked my glass up and drank the water in one drink. “Ok, kajaa!” I exclaimed marching to Seunghyun who was laughing at me.

“Are you drunk?” He asked me, grabbing my hand so to hold it.

“Andaeee. I’m just excited! New year, and well a very new me! I’m coming into this year as an Omma.” I reasoned following Seunghyun through the people.

His hand gripped mine tighter. It confused me, why did he do this? Did he just want to make sure he wouldn’t loose me in the people?

We walked up the stairs and turned left, going into the room where the babies were sleeping. Hyeyoon’s son and Inbok were laid fast asleep in the room. “Aish, they’re so cute!” Seunghyun whispered.
