Grabbing the luggage, I made sure to carefully place it in the back of the car. “Seungie, I’m fine!” Dara insisted as she saw the effort I was making.

She was standing in the doorway, her hand holding Inbok’s as he looked around. “At least let me spoil you like this! You don’t need to be dealing with your luggage!” I reaffirmed.

My stubborn wife sighed as she admitted defeat.

Ever since she had told me in the Philippines a couple of months ago that she was expecting our second baby, I was making sure that I could accommodate her in anyway possible. It was a shame that I was not going to be with her for the next couple of weeks. She kept on insisting that she could do everything by herself, but I wanted to help her too, especially since I was so busy during her pregnancy with Inbok.

“Maybe I should be glad that I will have a two week break without you in LA!” She teased.

“Yah! I will have Bom checking in between us if you reject my calls.” I warned her with a sly smile as I made my way towards the doorway.

“Aish, I’ll be calling you anyway to see Inbok!” She smirked.

“Just Inbok?! Not to see if your husband is surviving without you? Oh no!” I faked, putting the back of my hand to my forehead.

“Well, you see my husband will also be going to see to his duties as an idol!” She argued back.

“I guess I can’t deny that.” I accepted.

We made our way inside to spend the last few minutes together before Jijangmae would arrive to drive Dara to the airport.

“You are sure that you have everything?” I questioned the mother who cuddled Inbok.

“Dae! Just missing you two to take!” Dara said sadly as she kissed Inbok’s forehead.

“Dae Nanay! We will miss you too!” Inbok proudly claimed.

“And I will miss you both very much!” Dara declared, almost bursting into tears.

“Aigoo!” I chuckled as I brought Dara into a hug.

“Yah! Don’t laugh! These pregnancy hormones are really annoying!” She tantrumed.

“You are taking your medications that Hwang Sunsang-nim prescribed, right?” I asked.

“Of course!” She smiled as she wiped her tears.
