______ had been searching for the necklace all day and night, then into the next day.

It was really adding to her stress and it took a toll on her health.

When Yoseob got back, he went to talk to her in her practice room.

“______-ah, are you feeling better?” he asked. “Do you have a fever, or something?”

He reached up to feel her forehead.

“Ani.” She whispered.

“You look pale.”

Yoseob lifted her chin to look at her face.

“I’m fine.”

“Are you sure? Do you need anything? Could I get you something t eat or drink?” he asked.

______ glared at him.

“Oppa, I’m fine! Just leave it alone!” she snapped. “I’M NOT HUNGRY, ARASSEO?!”

Yoseob stared at her in shock.

“______-ah...wae…?”

“Just go focus on your own things…okay?”

“I’m more worried about you right now.”

“Don’t be.”

Yoseob let out a sigh.

He was confused as to why she was getting so snappy.

"Why are you acting like this? ______-ah, if something is bothering you...you could tell me."

"Ani..."

"WAE?! WHY NOT?!" he snapped back. "Is the stress getting to you? Don't push yourself too hard. Isn't that what you told me?"

"I know...but I just want time to myself."

"Time to yourself?! You always have time to yourself! We're hardly ever together. You need a break from me? WAE? What did I do?"

"NOTHING!!"

"I must've done something wrong!! If you're keeping something from me...it must be about me..."

“It’s NOT!”

Yoseob sighed.

“Fine, I see that you’re stressed out. I’m just trying to help you out.”

“Ara…”

He examined her body for any injuries.

"Oppa..." she scolded.

"Fine, sorry. it's a habit. I can't just just not care...but if that's what you want..."

Later, Minhee helped ______ look around the house for the lost necklace.

 After searching for hours, they took a break and went to the Kim’s house for dinner.

"Unnie, do you remember the last place you put it?"

"Aigoo, such a babo. Yah, if she knew that, it wouldn't be lost!" Munhee stated. "Come on now!"

His twin sister sent imaginary daggers in his direction.

"Don’t be such a SMART !!"

"What does it look like again?" Munhee asked,

______ showed Munhee a picture of her necklace that she had on her cell phone.

"Are you going to help us look for it?"

"Dang, who is he trying to impress with that bling?! Aish!"

______ glared.

She snatched the phone back.

"Shut up! You're no help!"

Munhee walked out to the little yard where Bokshiri was running around, chasing the birds.

"Yah! Be careful, Babo." Junghee shouted.

"Waeyo?!"

The elder brother pointed down.

When Munhee had taken a step, he came so close to a smelly poop pile.

"Whoa! I almost stepped in it!"

"You should have."

Munhee glared at him.

"Yah!"

Junghee sighed.

"Yah, right back at you! "

Bokshiri bounced over gave him a sniff and turned away.

"Wae.::"

"He was excited, but you're not his Appa so he doesn't care."

Munhee crossed his arms and scoffed.

"Psh! Yeah...well...I could've been!" he pouted.

"Mhm...Sure." Junghee nodded. "If you weren't such a clingy b-..."

"ARF! ARF!!" Bokshiri started to bark at a bird that wandered into the yard.

It flapped its wings and flew away.

"Hmm...How’s that for timing? Hyung got bleeped. I was NOT clingy."

Junghee was NOT convinced.

"The hell you weren't."

"Whatever..."

"Just because they're on a break, it means NOTHING. You do realize that, right?"

"Ne..."

He stated at his feet.

There was a sparkle in the poop pile.

'You have GOT to be kidding me...'

He squatted down to get a closer look.

Junghee backed away.

"What the heck are you doing? You’re examining the poop? Aigoo, Puppy, you are so lucky he is not your Appa. Come on, let's go back inside."

"Where's Munhee?" ______ asked.

"I think he's talking to dog poop."

“Ah, well , I have to go to home to sleep. I have to practice tomorrow.”

She said her goodbyes, grabbed Bokshiri and went home.

______’s parents planned to come visit her to celebrate a belated Parent’s Day.

“Yeobo, are you going to the right place?” Mr. Song asked.

“Ne, ______ sent me a picture of the building. I think that’s it, right there.” Her mother replied, pointing to the Cube building, across the street.

They crossed the street and entered the building.

President Hong had scheduled a meeting with them to talk before ______ had her debut stage.

______ was walking down the hallway with Jaehyo.

They just returned from grabbing a quick coffee.

“I’m  fatty.” He whined.

______ eyed him.

“Uh huh…sure. What part?”

“My hair?” he asked.

“You’re fluffy, there’s a difference. You’re Busan’s afro representative?”

“Could be!~”

“______!”

______ looked up to see her parents there.

“Appa, Umma…”

“Those are your parents?” Jaehyo asked.

______ eyed him.

“Yes…wae?”

“They’re so cute!”

______ shook her head.

“Yah, don’t you have OTHER THINGS to do? GO AWAY!~”

“I do have a schedule…actually.” He told her. “If I’m late, the members will make me sleep next to the toilet.”

“I have crazy friends.” She giggled.

“______ah, who’s your friend?” Her father asked. ‘Where is son-in-law?’

He looked Jaehyo over, like any protective father would.

“Annyeonghaseyo Abeonim and Eomeonim. My name is Ahn Jaehyo. I’m a friend of ______.”

Jaehyo shook their hands and bowed to each of them, out of respect.

“Jaehyo acted, with me, in my debut video.”

“Aah, is that why this boy looks familiar.” Her mother asked. “The President just showed us the music video.”

“Did you like it?” Jaehyo asked. “______ worked hard on that..”

“I did.” ______ nodded in agreement.

“She had a good ‘director’. He made it fun.”

“Okay…you  can go now.”

“Right, I have a schedule.”

“Or you can sleep in the toilet.” She whispered.

Jaehyo’s jaw dropped.

“MWOYA?! I said ‘BY’…not ‘IN’.”

“Ara.” She giggled. “Mine sounds more fun.”

“Um…NO!”

They waved goodbye.

“Abeonim, Eomeonim, it was nice to meet you both.”

Jaehyo bowed again before leaving.

“Who was that boy? What happened to ‘son-in-law’ hmm?” Mr. Song asked.

“Yoseob Oppa is busy  right now. B2ST is preparing to make a comeback.” ______ explained. ‘I miss him, a lot, though.’

“Oh, well, I was hoping we could treat him to dinner, while we’re here.”

“Maybe.” She said. ‘It might be possible…I think…’

“It would be great.”

“I don’t know, though. Yoseob Oppa is very busy and his days are, already, planned out. He might not be able to get around his schedule.”

Just then, B2ST came out of practice room.

“There!” Mr. Song exclaimed. “Yoseob-ah!”

______ froze in place.

‘Awww…Appa, WAE?!?!’ she threw a mental tantrum.

Yoseob made eye contact with them.

“Ah, Abeonim! Eomeonim! It’s been so long!” he said in his, usual, cheerful tone.

“Ne, it has!”

“Abeonim, I still have your watch.” Yoseob said pulling the watch out of his pocket.

“It’s your watch!” her father corrected.

“I promise that I’m taking good care of it. Even if I’m not wearing it, it’s with me.”

______ sighed.

‘Great!!! Now, I feel even worse for losing the necklace.’ She thought.

“That’s great to hear! It looks great on you.”

“Gomawoyo. How long will you be visiting?”

“About a week, this time. We were hoping to have dinner with you, but ______ said you’re busy lately and might not be able to.”

Yoseob looked at ______.

She couldn’t even look him in the eye.

The guilt and shame was eating away at her.

“I’m busy, but not THAT busy.” He told them. ‘There she goes, pushing me away again.’

Mr. Song brightened up.

“That’s great! We’ll make plans to have dinner together!”

“Great.” Yoseob chuckled. ‘It’s the only way to be around ______.’

“Yeah…great…” ______ muttered under her breath.

‘She can’t push me away when her parents are here, can she?’ Yoseob thought. ‘Even if she won’t tell me her problems, at least I can see her. At least we’ll be in the same room.’

He had a tiny smirk on his face.

______ let out a sigh.

“I should join the members.” He said. “We’re working hard to make this comeback, the greatest one. It’s still my dream to have a duet, and share a stage with ______.”

“That would be so sweet!!~~” ______’s mother squealed.

‘I still want that too…’ ______ thought.

“Take care of your vocal chords, arasseo?” Mr. Song lectured.

“I will, Abeonim. ______ would kill me if I didn’t.” Yoseob said.

He said goodbye and joined the rest of the members.

“Hyung, why  are you and Noona so awkward?” Dongwoon asked, as soon as Yoseob walked through the door.

“You aren’t broken up, right?” Kikwang asked. “Is it because of the Jaehyo rumors that have started up again?”

“Ani…”

“You don’t believe the rumors right?”

Yoseob shook his head.

“The last time, I laughed it off, because I trust her. Now, I know that she’s spending a lot of time with him, and people could misunderstand. I’ll admit that, THIS TIME, I did get a bit jealous. For a second though, I actually believed that it could be true. I became insecure about our relationship. Just because we’re on a break and she needs time, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love me anymore. I know that she does.”

“Well DUH! It can’t change in an instant.” Doojoon told him. “Feelings THAT STRONG, won’t disappear  that quickly.”

“You know, I noticed that Yoseob is taking better care of his health, this time around. I mean, as compared to the last break.”

Yoseob inhaled, then exhaled.

“I have to. I need to take care of myself. I need to be healthy. ______ is under a lot of stress right now, and I don’t want to add to it. Maybe this break is good for her. She can focus more on her debut in a couple of days, instead of us.”

"ARE you okay, though? You look like it, but are you really?"

Yoseob shrugged.

"I'll never know until we're together again."
