You grabbed the bowl with water and a black towel from Kibum’s bathroom and walked back to his room. He was still laying down in is bed, a white thin sheet  covering his body, and you tried not to think about the fact that he was only wearing his underwear.

“Hum…” he moaned raising his arm, his fingers moving, searching for your hand that grabbed his immediately.

“I’m here!” you were his friend, just another person that fell under his spell.

He opened his eyes slowly, his vision foggy from the high fever and smiled weakly at you.

“I knew I could call you…”

Kibum was right! Just a phone call, with a weak voice saying he wasn’t feeling well was enough to make you enter your car at 3 in the morning and show up at his apartment.

“I’m always here when you need me!” …as long as you need me.

He was your one true love, like they tell you in fairytales; even though he didn’t know your true feelings for him you didn’t mind to be by his side as long as he wanted. That’s how pathetic you were.

“I’m thirsty…” he said with a dry voice.

“I’m going to get you some water!”

“NO!” he grabbed your hand firmly and used his last strength to pull you closer to him.

"I don’t want to be left alone." He cried with a painful voice and you knew what he meant.

Kibum didn’t have anyone to take care of him when he was little since he lived in an orphanage almost all his life. Inside that y, responsible man, was a scared little boy; and you loved him even more because of that.

You touched his forehead, making him smile. Your touch was like medicine for him, and only your could fingers brushing his skin was enough to make him feel better.

You caressed his porcelain white skin tenderly, brushing the black sweaty hair away.

“I will never leave you alone! I’ll be here forever!” Kibum kept smiling knowing that you never lied.

 If he opened his eyes he would see it in your eyes.

You could never lie when he stared into your eyes.

He would see love in them.

Kibum opened his eyes slowly confirming what he expected.

What you failed to realize every time was that he also stared back at you with love on his eyes.
