Three weeks has flew by,  how fast. 

Time has indeed passed by real quick, maybe.... because your heart yearns to see him? 

You looked around your apartment for the last time... 
"Goodbye.." You felt a lump in your throat. 

Because this goodbye is not just a farewell to the apartment. 
It is a word that starts your new journey, the one where you go back to Daehyun.. 

You dropped by your office first to hand in your current assignments and receive your new assignments. 

*knock knock* 

"Come in.. " You'll miss his firm loud voice, he has been like a mentor, a father to you. 
"Ah... Ji Yeon, " he smiled. 

"I was just thinking about you, and wondered if you'll leave without a goodbye.." he joked with a silly grin.

Your heart stop, that's... what you did two years back.. 

You gave a nervous chuckle, "How can I ever leave a great mentor like you without saying goodbye?" 

He smiled. 

He sorted through the files and firmly held one in his hand. 
"I.." He paused. 
"I'm really sorry to let such a talented journalist to leave us...although not technically.." He stared in to your eyes. 
"But it was a great offer and opportunity for the company..." 

You held his hand, "Mr Rodger, I understand where you're coming from. I don't resent you or anything, In fact.." 

Your brain questioned your heart for your next few sentences. 

"I'm.. Happy and honored to take up this project." You ended off with a smile. 

He stared at the file, he stood up. 

His hand stretch out to pass to you, "Just remember,..." He stared into your eyes. 
"If anything happens, we will always welcome you back." 

Your heart feels fuzzy, two years of running away from your problems and you found people whom you can call family. 

After jumping, crying and squealing with your colleagues.. You finally bade farewell. 
You looked back at the building, and said Goodbye for the thousandth time today.. 
Mission #1 completed. 

You walked to the nearby shopping mall. 
And into that store.. 

"Samantha! " 

That lady looked up and smile, "The usual? You're a little early though.. " 
She glanced at the calender. 
" I wasn't expecting you till a few more days. " 

Her beautiful set of pearly whites were proudly displayed as she gave you a warm smile. 

You folded your hands and chew your lower lips, 

"I'm leaving today.. " 

She gave an apologetic face and immediately walked out of the counter to give you a hug. 

"GoodLuck Darling. " she whispered into your ear. 

You gave her a tighter hug. 

"Thankyou."

You broke free the hug, and brought out your gift,

"I got this for you, think of it as an early Christmas present and.. I wrote down my contact details, let's keep in contact! " 

Mission #2 Completed. 

You walked out of that shopping mall.. for the last time, at least... for  now its the last time,
You had this funny déjà vu feeling..
It felt like.... exactly like..  two years back. 

You flagged for a taxi and went to the airport.

You glanced at your watch, you still have two hours before your flight.  
You grabbed a cup of coffee in a cafe and read through your new assignments. 

You almost spat out your coffee.

      "Yes. I am, " you really don’t want him to ask if you are okay.
 

      "What will you do if your fans don’t approve?"

     You were feeling childishly angry.

     " No," you gave a smile, " I am fine. It was just a question. Nothing much, " the smile was glued to your face hiding the childish

     anger that was growing in you.

And you, you didn't even put up a fight and you just left him to battle alone.. 
You closed your eyes and rolled your head back..

What a tiring day.. Honestly.. I am really tired. 
Tired has more meanings that it originally meant.. 
What can I do? 
I can't back out now.. 
Sometimes, I... 
I .. wished I ran away with her.. 
Would it be easier? 

And.. actually the fan question has never left my head.. 
What if... What if.. she comes back? 
What should I do? 

I clenched my fists.. 
My heart aches again. 
It has always ached whenever I think of her..

"Hyung, we need to go in now" Zelo called out. 
I walked into the gates.. 
We're flying back to Korea from Japan.. 
Smile, Daehyun smile, you're going back home..

I looked down at my feet.. 
I wonder what's the consolation for going home.

"Dear Passengers, This is the captain speaking.. We are now approaching Korea, Seoul, InCheon International Airport. We will  be landing in approximately thirty minutes. Please return to your seats as we are landing soon.. We thank you for choosing..... "

"Korea.. " your murmured. 
"I'm back.. "
