You head back to the classroom and hurriedly erased the evidence.
(Removing the correction fluid..etc)  

You crept over to him and memorised the view of him sleeping…

"Dae…? " you pat his shoulder.

"Wake up…"

You could see his eyebrows moving as he tries to maintain a fixed composure.

"Dae… I know you’re awake! Wake up! "

His lips twitched and pulls into a fine grin.

He suddenly shot up and gave you a peck.

You were taken aback.

He chuckled and gave you another slopppy kiss.

"Why do I have such a cute girlfriend, " he pinched your cheeks.

Your shocked faces quickly grew into an annoyed one, and you smacked him.

"Yahhhh!! " you pouted.

He snickered, before advancing closer to you.

"You know you love it.." his husky voice trembles your every hair.

You gulped. You can’t deny…
 

He chuckled and brought his arms to link with yours, singing some song that expresses his love for food. 
 

Both of you held hands and made your way out of school..

There was an old tent house near the school where both of you often ate there. 

It was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.

For high school students at least, it was a luxury to date and eat there all the time.. 

" Aigoooo, who do we have here? My two favorite Customers, " The Ahjumma greeted you. 

She was a slightly plump lady with small eyes. 

But something about her makes you feel comfortable talking to her. 

She has seen both of you grow through your high school years and has helped you through all the stupid tiffs and arguments both of you were mad about before. 

She was just like an old friend to both of you.

Both of you chuckled and greeted her.. 

"Annyeonghaseyo Ahjumma！"

She smiled, ” I am so happy to see both of you…. It has been… ,”
Daehyun helped her, “Four years. Four years since we have last seem you Ahjumma.”

He smirked. 

"Yes! Yes! You two are still together right? " she winked. "Invite me to your wedding alright! I’ll wear my prettiest hanbok and make delicious Kimchi and Ddobboki for both of you. " Her eyes glittered like sequins on a dress. 

She clasped her hands together and giggled adorably. 

She showed no signs of old age despite her head full of white hair. 

You were bewildered at the comment, 

Daehyun just gently held your hand, “Ofcourse Ahjumma! Make sure you’re there!＂

Daehyun faced you with a smile. His face had cringed at the smile, with pretty lines making his beautiful eyes smaller, but a twinkle could be seen through the slit of his eyes. 
 

You gave an uncomfortable laugh.
Today was already difficult to get over. 
You didn’t need people to remind you that you’re trying to break a future that you never will be able to have. 

You were chewing your food slowly.. Watching Daehyun devouring his food like a monster. 

"Silly boy.., Have you been starving all these while? " you wondered. 

You gave a soft chuckle before poking the rice cake with a fork and brought it to your mouth. 

He looked up with a mouth of of black bean noodles. 

The sauce coats his lips and noodles were hanging out from his mouth. 

"Whh-at?" His muffled voice. 

You giggled, “Nothing.. ” you went on to eat another rice cake. 

He hurriedly swallowed everything, ”Why? “ 
 

"Just…" You stared at his face. Lingering at his eyes, the eyelashes, the mole under his eyes.. 

His nose… 

His cheeks… 

Finally his lips… 
 

"Jaki…?" 

You cleared your vision. 

You poke your plate. 
 

"Jaki…? " you was still poking your plate to not blow your cover. 

His hand reached out and held yours. 

He finally caught your attention and you faced his eyes. 

He whispered warmly, ” There are no more rice cakes on your plate. “ 

"Huh?! " you peered down at your plate. 

! Cover blown. 
 

You hurriedly grab a spoon to drink your soup. 

He just stared at you. Almost as if he was waiting. 

You gulped down, taking as long as you can. 

Your mind was busy with possible lies to come up with.. 

You scraped your bowl for another spoon, you heard a familiar “screeaach” 

no more soup. 

You peered down at the bowl. 
 

He tapped your hands lightly. “Look at me. “ 

You gulped. 
 

”Ji Yeon, Look at me.”

You chew your lips. Deep breath. 
 

His fingers reached for your chin and made you face him. 

Your eyes disobeyed him and looked elsewhere. 
 

" You’re leaving me aren’t you?" 

Your heart stops, and eyes finally caught his. 

No way.. 

You opened your mouth to say the lies you have come up with. 

Nothing came out.
