Author’s POV

Jiyong and Kiko were supposed to meet Kiko’s relatives in the city but Jiyong didn’t feel like talking to anyone. Kiko understood and let him stay in their hotel room to rest.

Jiyong pondered the whole time. Thinking about what Sanghyun meant. Not only that, but for some reason he can’t seem to remove Dara’s crying face from his mind.

Jiyong hissed inwardly and raked his hair in irritation. He just couldn’t stop thinking about Dara again.

It felt like his Dara has a magnet for his heart. Ever since he saw her in the airport, his mind has been thinking about Dara. Heck, the moment he left he never forgot about Dara. When he saw her at the airport he immediately ran to her, wanting to hug her and take her in his arms but he hesitated. It would be weird to hug her now. Heck, he knew that once he smells her lovely scent he might do more than hug her.

He sighed as he rested his arm over his forehead. Looking up at the ceiling, he recalled Dara’s face the moment he called her Noona. He had a stinging pain in his heart and he couldn’t even stop it. Calling Dara noona seemed to have shattered him. But a smile escaped his lips when he closed his eyes. He remembered when Dara called him Coffee.

The sense of familiarity filled him with delight. He wanted to respond with Cakey… But he hesitated. He hesitated.

He sighed before looking at the bed beside his. Kiko helped him a bit but even with her by his side it felt like he was has a constant need to see Dara. If it weren’t for Kiko, Jiyong wouldn’t even dare go back Korea. Since she wanted to make sure all of their family members met each other. But it wasn’t enough. Even though he knows that Kiko always did her best… It was enough. His mind always drifted back to Dara. His heart ached for Dara. His very being wanted Dara.

It was always Dara.

Jiyong sighed in irritation and he stood up to get some fresh air. He left the hotel room and started walking out the street. Without even getting his car, he went off and walked away. He didn’t know where he wanted to go but he just wanted to get some fresh air. He sighed deep, taking in the cold air. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do. Was he supposed to succumb to his feelings and run away again? Is this what Sanghyun meant?

He clicked his tongue and rushed forward but when he did, he suddenly bumped into someone. The person fell on their bum and Jiyong immediately bowed and apologized but as he looked to help, he saw Bom. His eyes widened when he noticed her big tummy, she was pregnant!

Bom: yah! That hurt!

Jiyong: B-Bom?

Bom: Omo! J-Jiyong!

They were both surprised to see each other. But Jiyong was even more shocked to see that Bom was pregnant. Bom immediately held on her belly and flinched in pain.

Jiyong: A-are you alright?

Bom: I’m obviously in pain and you still ask me that kind of question???

Bom started huffing out air and then all of a sudden her water broke. Jiyong and some people who were passing by looked at Bom in surprise. One of the people passing by said that Bom might already be in labor.

Jiyong immediately hailed for a cab and brought Bom to the hospital. On the way, Bom has been screaming in pain which made Jiyong panic.

Jiyong: y-yah! Who-who… who should I call? What do you… what…?

Bom: Oppa… Call… Oppa…

Bom grunted in pain due to her cramps. Once they arrived in the hospital, the nurses immediately helped her and brought her to the labor and delivery department.

Without second thought, Jiyong immediately dialed Dara’s number, hoping that she would answer.

Dara: yoboseyo?

Jiyong: Dara! Bom… Bom is in labor! She’s in the hospital with me. I… I don’t know what to do!

Dara: Jiyong? What… Where are you?

Jiyong: We’re in Seoul Hospital.

Dara: I’ll be right there.

The moment Dara arrived, Jiyong immediately hugged her. He still felt his nerves in panic but seeing her calmed him down. He took in Dara’s smell, tightening the hug. Dara was surprised with the sudden gesture. Her heart beat bounced in delight when Jiyong held her. Dara encircled her arms around Jiyong and took in his warmth. She missed him… so much.
