Seunghyun’s POV

I sighed in disbelief.

Wrinkling my forehead, I stepped out of my car and looked at the man and the woman that was standing in front of our gate. A big lump suddenly formed in my throat as if stopping me from speaking.

The woman lowered her head and turned. When she did, she saw me looking at her. Her eyes became watery and a smile formed on her lips. But it was something I couldn’t do. I stared at her. Feeling nothing but anger within me.

Jinsil: S-Seunghyun-ah…

I closed my car’s door and walked towards them. The man had turned around as well and a proud smile was evident on his face.

Sanwoo: Ah Seunghyun! You’ve grown!

Seunghyun: what are you doing here?

Sanwoo: is that any way to greet your parents?

Seunghyun: (scoffs) parents? Since when? As far as I’m concerned we never had any.

Sanwoo: tsk!

Jinsil: (holds Sanwoo’s sleeve and he backs off) Seunghyun-ah… Please don’t say that. We’ve searching for you since you left.

Seunghyun: oh really? You did?

Jinsil: we did Seunghyun… And just when we were already running out of places to search for you, Hyunsuk-oppa confessed that you were both under his care. We wanted to see you but you would always disappear before we could. We know you did it on purpose so we left you alone.

Seunghyun: (smirks) really? That’s your explanation? You tried to find us and when you did you just gave up because you couldn’t see us? That’s something.

Jinsil: Seunghyun-ah…

Seunghyun: (sighs) let’s just cut to the chase. What are you here for?

Sanwoo: We’re here for Jiyong.

Seunghyun: (glares at him) what do you need with my brother?

Sanwoo: your brother? (Chuckles) I know you value him as your brother. But you have to remember that both of you don’t have the same blood flowing through your veins.

Jinsil: Sanwoo!

Seunghyun: Yeah… I know that fact. But even though he’s not my real brother… At least I’ve always been there for him as his big brother and father instead
