Seunghyun POV

I massaged my temples as I waited for Bom to arrive in the park where I first met her. The park where I saved her life.

It was already night, I was planning to watch the sunset with her but she didn’t show up.

Waiting for her like this, I realized that she must have been waiting for me as well. All those years must be a pain. I just sighed, thinking that maybe waiting for her after hours is far easier than what she endured.

I looked at the time, it was almost midnight. I wonder if Jiyong’s home.

I sighed again. I looked up at the stars and the full moon. It had a bright aura around it as if telling me today is gonna be a good night.

I bit my lower lip before closing my eyes and I suddenly felt a warm hand touch mine. I looked and I saw Bom standing there, smiling at me. I smiled at her.

Bom: I’m sorry I couldn’t make it in time… I was attending a business meeting.

Seunghyun: It’s alright…

Bom: Why did you call me out here anyway?

Seunghyun: Remember what my mother said?

She looked at me with a wrinkled forehead, confused. But later she probably realized what I meant and she suddenly turned red.

Bom: S-S-Seunghyun-oppa! I know Jinsil-Omma is in her death bed but you don’t have to force yourself…

Seunghyun: Well then… let me ask you again… do you really love my brother?

She opened to answer but no words came out. She looked so confused and worried.

Seunghyun: Since you can’t give me an answer… Should I interpret that as a yes?

I looked at her with worried eyes and panic slowly washed over her. I looked away, wanting to leave since I feel like this isn’t going to end well.

Author’s POV

Seunghyun seems to be disappointed with Bom’s reactions so he had planned to walk away and leave. Bom bit her lower lip as she stomped on the ground while wiggling her body. Finally, she can’t take it anymore.

Bom: I’m not in love with Jiyong! I’m in love with you Seunghyun-oppa!

Bom immediately gasped and covered once she realized what she just said. Seunghyun looked at her and she immediately turned away. When she did, she didn’t see that Seunghyun actually smiled. Seunghyun stepped closer and captured her into his arms.
