Both the light and dark realms were at peace.
Nothing was to bother the peaceful atmosphere. The sun was high in the sky. The sky was blue and cloudless. There was a light breeze blowing by. The trees, grass, and flowers moved gracefully with the wind.
Angels in both realms were doing their own things. They were enjoying the everyday perfect weather.
Small angels were flying here and there playing with each other. Their laughter bringing smiles to their parents’ faces, them falling making their parents worried, and the love that was spreading because of the time together.
However, there were two angels that felt like they were a burden because of their destinies that they hold.
Seven months since the awful quake and nothing has happened. Was the end not coming yet?
Both angels were anticipating each day. They wanted to know when the end was to come. They wanted everything to end because their destinies were a burdensome on them and their families.
They knew they couldn’t avoid it, so they accepted it and waited.
The angel of light was in his room. He was sitting by the window gazing out. There wasn’t anything in particular that he was looking at, but he was just looking out and admiring the beautiful day.
“Hwayoung,” He whispered unconsciously. Then he caught himself. “Aish, Byunghun, why can’t you forget her? It’s already been seven months. But then again, how could I not forget her? She’s the first angel that I fell in love with, the first angel to have stolen my heart from the first glance. Of course it would be difficult to forget your first love.”
A sigh escaped his lips as he leaned his head back. Memories flooded his mind again.
