Hwayoung gently landed on the green grass. She folded her wings back and sat down. She pulled up her knees and hugged them.

Resting her head on her knees, Hwayoung heaved a small sigh. “Why is life so complicated?” She wondered out loud.

“Because it just is.” A familiar voice answered. Hwayoung snapped her head up and saw that one angel that she yearned for.

“Byunghun.” Hwayoung called. L.Joe smiled glad to hear Hwayoung call his name. “Hwayoung.” He called softly.

L.Joe stepped forward. “You’re finally here.” Hwayoung looked away. “I didn’t mean to. My wings just took me here.” “Well, I’m glad that your wings took you here.”

Hwayoung turned back to L.Joe. “Did you…wait for me?” L.Joe shook his head and replied honestly, “No, I actually stopped waiting for two weeks now.” Hwayoung’s heart sank hearing that.

“I was coped up in my room being depressed because you didn’t come. I found it really hard not to see you, Hwayoung. I wanted to cross over the barrier and search for you, but I didn’t want to make you feel pressured.” L.Joe explained.

“You…really would do that?” Hwayoung asked. L.Joe looked into Hwayoung’s eyes and answered, “I would. If it was to be with you, I would do anything.”

“It’s great to finally have you in my arms.” A voice said next to Hwayoung’s ear. Hwayoung pulled back and looked up at the angel of light in front of her.
