"So, you're like a cute little child in matoki years, but in human years, you're 17?" Toto nods and continues to use the small piece of crayon. "He's anyone ever told you you are absolutely adorable?"

 

He looks up and me and shakes his head.

 

"Well, you are!"

 

You hides his face and I giggle. I walk into the kitchen and crack the eggs. A few minutes later, I have my plate of bacon and eggs, and six miniature plates with miniature bacon and eggs. My favourite five, consisting of Tats, Keke, Joko, Dada and Toto, come tot the table first. Shishimato slumps lazily and makes his way to the table. He sighs and climbs onto the table to reach his food.

 

"How was everybody's sleep?" I ask, looking around at their bunny-like faces.

 

Within two days, I've easily gotten accustomed to them and actually started liking them (five out of six). My FF, Favourite Five, helped me around the house and happily agreed and hide in my bag when I took Casey for a walk yesterday. Shishimato, on the other hand, always seemed to ruin the mood. He would complain and fine some way to make something nice really horrible. He seemed like he didn't want to be anywhere around me.

 

Feelings mutual around him!

 

Even if I've only spent one full day with him, I can't stand him!! What's worse is that no matter how annoying, obnoxious, selfish, rude, impolite thick-headed bunny is, his deep voice I just can't get enough. It's so weird hearing it come from his tiny body! Especially when he goes up against me. 

 

"This girl has the IQ of lint!" He yelled.

 

"Excuse me?!?" I pulled him out of my bag and had him hanging by his feet.

 

"You heard me! Wait, let me say it again, but in a different way, so it's easy for you to understand. When you pass away and people ask me what the cause of your death was, I'll say your stupidity."

 

I took the alien bunny in my hands and tossed him as hard as I could onto the top of a nearby tree.

 

"You are living proof that manure can grow legs and walk!" I yelled after him.

 

He yelled something back, but I covered my ears and sang the 'Lala' song.

 

"I hear what you're saying but I just don't care." I stuck my nose up in the air and walked away.

 

 I didn't return to find him again until two hours later, when my FF reminded me that he was still in the park.

 

"Thank you for the meal!" Dada says and the others nod their head.

 

"It's my pleasure to cook for you!" I take their plates and send Shishimato the dirty look. I clean everything up and pack my bag.

 

As I'm putting on my shoes, Toto stands in front of me.

 

"Where are you going?" He asks, tilting his head to the side and looks at me with innocent eyes.

 

If he wasn't a living being (living robot, living being, same difference!) I would have crushed him in a hug by now.

 

"Ah, I forgot." I crouch down and scoop him up in my hands and hold him so we are eye level. "I need to go to school for six hours for five days a week, but I will be back, and I assure you we'll have lots of fun!" 

 

"Can I come with you?"

 

I look behind, my gaze stopping on Dada. He's in his usual posture: hanging his head and making circles with his feet. I can't help but wonder why he acts like that when he speaks to me, or why he defended me yesterday. It doesn't make any sense!

 

"I don't think that's a very good idea..." I put Toto down and stand back up.

 

"We want to come, too!" Keke and Joko say in unison. Keke quickly puts his black suit back on and zips up his mouth. He puts his index finger to his mask and winks to me.

 

"I wouldn't mind seeing more earthians." Tats rounds the corner and puts his hands on his hips. "Observing you is cool, but having both gender's might further mine and Joko's research. And following you doesn't seem like a bad idea to me!" He rubs his hands together and chuckles evilly.

 

"You guys wouldn't be able to move or talk for the entire day! I could never stand to do that for even five minutes!"

 

"We can manage. We are matokis." Joko nods

 

I sigh and surrender. Why is it that when these guys ask, I always give in?!

 

"Fine. Shishimato, do you want to come as well?" I shout out reluctantly.

 

"WHY WOULD I WANT TO ACCOMPANY SOME PSYCHO LIKE YOU?!"

 

"Good enough for me!" I scoop up my FF and head out the door.

Being me, I feel like no one is going to participate, but oh well. Life just exists to make your life miserable.
