Jessica’s POV

I was waiting for Taemin in the studio, wondering why he had not come. Just then, the door opened.

“Taemin! You are here! Where did you go? We were supposed to go to the mall!”

“Err… S-something propped up.” He said, stuttering a little. I raised an eyebrow at him. “It’s really nothing noona. Let’s dance!” He said pulling me together to dance.

“Yah! I can’t dance!” I shouted while laughing as he tried to do some silly moves.

“Come on noona! You always see me dance but never danced together with me. I will teach you! I’m a good teacher you know!”

He’s so weird today. “Taemin, seriously, what’s wrong?” I asked.

“Hais, noona… I seriously can’t hide things from you.” He sighed.

“Of course, now tell me, what happened?”

“Noona, please answer me honestly. Have you get over Jonghyun sunbae? Do you really like me now?” He asked. I was shocked. Why would he ask me this? Have I neglected him too much? Or did I not show him enough affection that a couple should have?

“Why would you ask this, Taemin ah?” I asked, trying to be calm.

“Noona, you… you are not happy with me. At least not as happy when you are with Jonghyun sunbae.” He said.

“Taemin ah, it’s not-” I was cut off by him. “Noona, I want the truth, please.”

I sighed. “Taemin, I-I still love Jonghyun oppa. I thought I could forget him after accepting you but no, I’m wrong. I missed him more and more each day. Even though you can make me happy too, it’s different. It’s all about feeling. I’m so sorry.” I told him, feeling guilty.

I thought he would be angry but instead he smiled.

“Noona, it’s okay. I knew it, I’m already prepared for this. Go for him noona. Get him back and be happy.” He said.

“Taemin, you know it’s okay? I can try, I can really try hard to forget him. We can still continue this relationship. I guess…” I whispered the last part. I was guilty, it seems like I was using him all along to forget Jonghyun oppa.

“Noona, it’s really okay, I know that this wouldn’t work out. It’s a one sided love all along. Just get him back alright? He cares for you a lot. He understands you more than me. I want you to be happy and I know only him can make you happy.” He smiled.

“Thank you Taemin, thank you so much. But I don’t know if I still have the chance to be with him…” I said disappointedly.

“Noona, have hope! Oh yeah! I have been wanting to give you this bracelet. Although you are not my girlfriend anymore, take this as a friendship bracelet alright? We’re still best friends right?” He gave me the bracelet, it was beautiful.

“Thanks Taemin! Yes! Best friends forever my little junior!” I smiled. I feel so sorry to him. He is such a great boyfriend but I just can’t love him back.
