Jieun’s Perspective

I woke up this morning and tip toed into the kitchen.

“What to do? What to do?” I whispered over and over again to myself.

All the sudden I heard a door open, then another.

“Good morning Unni!!!!” Jiyeon and Suzy greeted.

“Hello!!! Good morning, girls!!” I replied.

“Well, should we surprise the boys, by making a great breakfast?” Suzy kindly asked.

“Sure, let’s go to the other market, near my parent’s house!” I suggested.

We used the carriage and rode over to the market.

“Thank you mister, you might as well look around and buy things for yourself while you wait.” Jiyeon said while handing the man guiding the carriage some money. “Aw, thank you, miss you are so kind.” They man smiled, he walked off to a store.

“We might as well just have some fun, while we’re here!” Suzy exclaimed.

Us girls exchanged looks and linked arm and smiled.

*What does the day have in store for us?*

We just walked around looking for a grocery store.

We saw a man on the street corner with 2 children, they all appeared to be homeless.

“There you go, sir. HWITING!!!!!” We gave some money for his family.

“Thank you girls, you girls truly are angel sent from heaven.” The man replied.

“I wish you the best.” I bowed.

We walked off feeling good about ourselves.

We finally found a grocery store.

We walked in and looked at each other.

“Let’s make… noddle soup, with vegetables and chicken!” Jiyeon beamed.

That’s her favorite food.

“Okay, fine Jiyeon.” Suzy and I jokingly sighed.

Jiyeon skipped though the store happily… like a child.

We found chicken, noodles, carrots, cabbage, celery, broth, and green unions… all the ingredients that Jiyeon liked.

“Okay, let’s pay.” I smiled.

“Ummm…. Jieun unni, we don’t have enough money to buy all of this! We paid the carriage man and gave money to the homeless family!” Suzy pouted.

“Oh, ladies do you need some more money to buy that stuff?” Somebody asked.

We shifted our heads in the direction of the speaker.

He was….. super handsome!!!

“Oh, no we don’t want to trouble you.” Jiyeon smiled, flipping her hair.

“Here” Mr. Handsome handed us enough money to buy our groceries.

“Thank you! What’s your name???” Suzy asked, looking cute.

“Oh, I’m Soo Hyun, Kim Soo Hyun.” Mr. Handsome replied.

“Oh okay, thank you, again. Annyong!” I said, dragging Jiyeon and Suzy out of the market.

“Wasn’t that guy super handsome!?” Jiyeon fangirled. “Unni, don’t cha think so?” Jiyeon asked me. “I can’t even think about another guy, I already have Kai and Daehyun!” I replied.

“Okay, unni let’s just hang out! Girls day out!!!” Suzy beamed.

“Ok, what are we gonna do?” I asked.

“Ummmm…. Walk around and get things on the way?” Suzy said.

“Oh, we should buy each guy a special gift!!!! Let’s have a race and see who can get their peoples gifts first!” Jiyeon suggested.

“Okay we’re in, Jiyeon you get Himchan and Yongjae, Suzy you get Jongup and Yongguk, I’ll get Daehyun, Kai, and Zelo! Winner gets 1 thing, each from each loser.” I arranged.

“Okay, let’s meet back in this grocery store!” Jiyeon clarified.

“Okay girls, on your mark, get set, GO!!!!!” I yelled.

I dashed though the market looking into stores.

*First, Daehyun… umm well, he loves food!!!*

I rushed into a bakery and purchased 2 small cheesecake slices for the price of 4445.40 won! (4 U.S. Dollars)

*Next, Kai… well Kai likes things that are healthy for him!!!!*

I ran into that same grocery store and bought 1 mango and 1 apple for 2222.70 won! (2 U.S. Dollars)

*Last person!!! Okay Zelo!!! He likes things that are cute on him!!!*

I ran to an accessories store with the cheesecake and fruit in a basket.

“So close!!!” I cheered myself on.

I reached the store and I found a cute baby blue bandana!!!! Perfect!

I bought the baby blue bandana for 6668.10 won. (6 U.S. Dollars)

I rushed to the grocery store as fast as lighting.

Running.. running…. Running.

At last, 10 feet away from the opening of the store.

*YES! I’m going to win!!!!*

“Jieun!!!!” I saw Suzy and Jiyeon too, about 10 feet away from the store opening too!!!

*Bubble burst…*

Without hesitation I dashed to the store opening, as fast as I could!

Jiyeon and Suzy ran as well.

*BANG!*

*We all fell on the floor of the store, who won??*

We all looked to see.

Wait! I was laying on the bottom, which means I dove in first!!!! I WON!!!!

We all stood up.

But only Suzy and Jiyeon had their mouths dropped wide open.

I smiled in relief.

I don’t have to spend money!!! They have to spend money on me!

“Let’s just get home before the guys get up, we can surprise them with dinner and gifts!” Suzy said walking over to where we last saw the carriage.

We found the carriage.

But the guy that drives the carriage was nowhere in sight.

“Omo!!! Aigoo! What are we going to do???” Suzy asked shocked.

“Well does anybody know how to work a horse drawn carriage?” I asked. We were running out of options.

“Well, I sorta do…” Jiyeon confessed.

“How? We know you love horses, but when did you find the time to actually learn how to ride one?” Suzy asked.

“Well, Himchan oppa took me to the horse stables, which his family owns. I saw him ride the horse, so maybe I could try…” Jiyeon explained.

“Go ahead, we need all the hope we can get.” I sighed.

*I hope she can do it!*

Jiyeon hopped onto the horse.

“Okay, HEE-YAH!!!!!” Jiyeon yelled, very scared.

She did it!! I horse was trotting at a medium speed.

She was doing do well!!

“Speed it up, a tiny bit, we need to get home ASAP!” Suzy said.

“Okay!” Jiyeon yelled over the clicking of the horse’s hooves.

“KEY-YAHH!!!!!!!!!” Jiyeon hollered.

The horse trotted faster.

~~~~~30 minutes later~~~~~

“WE MADE IT BACK ALIVE!!!” Suzy joked.

We walked into the kitchen, silently.

*Amazing, It was fricking 10:00 A.M. and the boy were still fast asleep.*

We started cooking.

I cut the carrots and the meat (ewwww), Jiyeon cut the cabbage and celery, and Suzy cut the green onions and keep in check with the broth cooking over the fire.

Suzy got her green unions cut in 2 minutes and put it into the pot.

I first had to skin the 5 carrots we bought and cut them in about 1 cm widths! I finished, then I set the carrots to the side, they cook very fast.

Okay, now the cold chicken… Save me!!!

I sliced the meat in half, so I had to work with less meat at once.

I squealed every time I had to touch the meat to keep me from slicing it onto the floor.

I sliced each piece of meat in thin, so it was soft and easy to chew.

I plopped the meat in the boiling pot of broth.

I helped Jiyeon cut the celery while she was still cutting the cabbage.

I brought the celery and the cabbage into the boiling pot.

Suzy fanned the smoke from the pot.

At last it’s their time to shine! I dropped the carrots into the pot too.

Suzy, Jiyeon, and I drooled from the delicious aroma around the house.

~~~~8 minutes later~~~~~

The soup looked asdfghjkkl…. Perfect!!!!!

We all walked into our room and woke up the boys. I walked into the room and laid in the middle and started to roll and roll, and sort of kick them in the legs.

Like I was sleeping, but I was flailing around and rolling.

“Mhmmmm…” Daehyun groaned.

“DAMMIT!!! YOU LAZY ASSES!!! JUST GET UP, OR I’LL CHOOSE THE OTHER GUY OVER YOU!!!!!” I yelled.

That woke Kai up.

“Okay, so I guess I’m with Kai now…” I teased Daehyun.

Daehyun shot right up and linked his arm with mine.

“Anniya. Never!” Daehyun said, smiling. *That little … he acts like I already chose him.*

They followed me out of the room to see… breakfast cooked for them!!!!

*I’d like to see those lazy asses cook us a DECENT breakfast!!!*

“We have presents for all of you!!!” Jiyeon beamed.

“But you guys can eat first.” I added.

“Don’t have to tell me to eat twice!” Daehyun eyeballed the perfect soup.

He dove in.

Daehyun made an Oh-My-God-This-Is-Amazing face.

“Wow, girls this is really good.” Yongguk and Yongjae smiled, enjoying the meal.

I tasted some, oh my god!!! I tasted much better than it looked!!!!

So!!!!  Good!!!!!

WOW!!! Daehyun was on his 4^th bowl when the rest of us were finishing our first!!!!!

They don’t call him a human food shredder for nothing you know…

~~~~~~After the food was finished~~~~~~

“God, seriously. We woke up at 7:00 to make this, and you lazy asses do nothing but sleep all day! Tomorrow you guys wake up and make breakfast!!!” I said.

“Is that a challenge, then we accept!” Daehyun agreed.

“It has to be a decent and high quality breakfast!” I applied to the rules.

“Okay, so presents!!!!! I’ll go first!” Suzy said. “I was in charge of getting stuff for Jongup and Yongguk. Okay so for Yongguk oppa, I got a cool hat that has, “SWAG” embroidered on the front. And for Jongup oppa I got 5 pound weight!!!! Stay strong!” Suzy announced as she handed the boys their gifts. They seemed to really like their gifts, they hugged Suzy and thanked her.

“Okay, my turn!!!” Jiyeon beamed. “I was in charge of getting gifts for Himchan and Yongjae! So for Himchan I got a mirror!!!! (Hahahaha pretty boy!! ♥) And for Yongjae I got a history book!!! (Smarty pants!!) Himchan and Yongjae also really liked their presents!!!!! Himchan was so distracted with his face, smiling at his own beauty! Yongjae was reading the book, looking very fascinated.

“Okay, I’m the last!! So I was in charge of getting presents for 3 people!! Daehyun, Kai, and Zelo!!!! For Zelo I got a cute baby blue bandana!!! For Kai, a mango and an apple!!!! (Healthy Kai!!!) And last but not least, Daehyun, come and get your two slices of cheesecake!!!!” I announced beaming.

Kai started to eat the apple.

“It’s so good!!” Kai exclaimed.

Daehyun gobbled up the cheesecake!!!!

“CHEESECAKE!!!!!! I LOVE YOU JIEUN!!!!!!” Daehyun yelled.

Zelo tried on the bandana. SO CUTE!!!!

“Thank you noona!!!!” Zelo smiled.

“We will cook and get you guy’s gifts too!!!!!” Yongguk exclaimed.

We had a huge group hug!

Man, I love my friends!!! :D
