To Death, my friend
Chapter 37
Day 30- Goodbye
--
It had been a day now. A day where Yujin was walking continuously between two rooms on different floors. Always making sure those two close to her were being alright.
She watched her sister being scolded by the doctor and her condition was becoming unbearable for herself. Her lungs felt like they were being torn apart according to the way she described it. She had trouble speaking properly.
She waited hours for the surgery to end for Jooyeon's leg. After the wait, the result was obvious, she was missing about half of her leg and was obliged to stay like that for the rest of the time. She was pale too after she woke up, but still managed to smile.
Yujin dragged her feet in the hallway tiredly, she hadn't closed her lids once. She leaned her back onto the cold wall. Quickly letting herself down, she sat with her knees close to her chest with her head down. She wept quietly as she thoughts about the events of these days.
Regret. She knew what was going to happen soon. Even if they weren't sure, it was obvious the suggested had a high chance of becoming true.

Yujin's sister had to quit the house, yet she always ended up in her house to have siblings' moments. Jungah's relationship with her father was the worse, but the ones understanding her, 'specially her mother, were always there for her.
She stopped sobbing after thinking so much. As soon as this nightmare was going to end, the innocent dreams would be back.
But that was a lie she had to tell herself for now.
"Stay with unnie, you know what she told us..."
With Jooyeon's words repeating in her mind, she stepped up to face the door that was at the end. She was welcomed with the serene sleeping face of Jungah. She sat by the stool next to her.
Holding onto her fragile hand, she absorbed the details of every single object. The transparent oxygen mask's green cable snaking down to connect to a blue horizontal tank. The thin serum wires all making their ways to her wrist's veins, pumping in the colorless substance.
The white sheet covering up to her chest had traces of pleads. Her gaze fell upon her arms, looking so easy to break. Her grip in Jungah's open palm was tighter.
Tick, tock. Tick, tock.
As seconds passed, her free hand
