Falling into a deep and black hole was the last thing I could remember. I didn`t feel the pain from flying through sharp branches and landing on the cold muddy ground. Only when I opened my eyes again I could feel it clearly. I could feel my scratched skin and deep cut on my shoulder.

Moving was impossible for my weak body. I couldn`t even move a single finger without feeling the sharp pain in my bones. They screamed at me, needing a break from this madness called life. I couldn`t even feel my wings anymore, only pain. So much pain.

So I didn`t dare to make a single movement. Just closing my eyes, hoping no one would find my fragile self, hidden through grass-green leaves. Smelling the scent of bursting buds in the air and falling asleep. The morning sun my wounded skin gently as if saying “sleep well”.

So I just did as I was told.

I don`t know for how long I was resting, but the next moment I opened my eyes again I was feeling much better. The pain wasn`t as strong as before and I was finally able to move again. But it wasn`t the sun who greeted me this time. She already left her place on the sky and made place for someone else.
