The moment my pathetic strike met his almost broken protection, I once felt like I shouldn`t fight this angel anymore. His attempt to fight in this useless war seemed at least at the same level as mine. And at the same time he just looked so sad and helpless.

Somehow I didn`t want him to die like that.

Taking a deep and needed breath I felt myself finally gaze at his wonderful appearance. Even when he looked like a broken bird trying to survive with his powerless hollow wings, he still looked so beautiful and elegant while doing it.

His eyes were strong, even when they hold so many emotions in them right now. Somehow they were so familiar. I wanted to look into them a bit longer, maybe forever. I wanted to look into his soul, his eyes were that deep. Beautiful and blue, like the morning sky. Something I rarely saw, but wished to look at every day.

They seemed to call for me.

No, I couldn`t let him die. So I did the only thing possible in that situation. I pushed him down, taking him by surprise. I watched as his eyes widened, wonderful blue staring into deep brown. I watched him falling and falling. Deeper and even deeper into that forest beneath us. His wings couldn`t hold him up in the rainy air around us.

He closed his eyes slowly. Exhaustion taking over his beaten body. Small blood drops mixing with watery pattern
