After school at home……………..

I closed the door behind me and entered the large living room. 

"Mom! Dad! Anybody home?!" my voice echoed through the mansion.

" Oh, you're home" my mom said as she dialed a number with her phone.

"Hi, soooooo wuzzup? It's been a long time we haven’t talked" I said as I sat on the sofa uncomfortably. I'm not really close to my parents since they are always at work. Actually, we're not close AT ALL. You can say I'm more close to my maid.  She's always present at birthday parties, talent shows and etc.

"Oh! Hello! Um…yes yes I talked to him and he said it's a done deal……" My mom talked on the phone for ten minutes ignoring me.

"Soooo…..can we talk? I kinda……found a new friend" I said enthusiastically when she hung up the phone.

"Kim, I'm so happy sweetheart, but can we talk later? I really don’t have the time right now " she said not even bothering to look at me. My face fell.

"What do you mean you don’t have time? "

" I need to go shopping, we have some important guests this week"

"Ha! Funny, so you have time for a piece of cloth but not for me " I let out a small laugh

"Oh God! Kim, don’t act like a three year old, we'll talk later" she said frustrated and started dialing  another number. I snatched the phone from her and she looked at me in slightly furious.

"Kim! Hand me the phone please" she said in a firm tone.

I shook my head in disagreement "Can't we just have some family time together like other human beings?!!" I raised my voice.

"don’t raise your voice and gimme the phone" she said as she brought her hand towards me, expecting me to give it to her. "this is not the kind of behavior I expect from you! I told you we'll talk later" this time she was really angry.

"LATER! That’s what I've been hearing in the last sixteen years. When will that LATER come? Huh?" I said as tears collected in my eyes "it's obvious you don’t give a about me! All you care about is your stupid job"

" I do care about you!"

"Remember when I had a car accident? You didn’t even bother to come to the hospital, instead you sent one of your men to check on me" I said as hot tears ran down my cheeks.
