The next few days, your fever still didn't go down. Your brothers, other than Yongguk and Jongup, all attempted to convince you to go to the hospital, to get you treated. However, and of course, you didn't agree to. No matter what, you refused to. They got frustrated, they got annoyed, but they gave in to you. They had no choice. You were just too stubborn.

  One afternoon, you were lying on your bed, as restless as before. Your eyes were close, not because you were asleep but because you were too tired to open them.

  Your brothers were, as usual, sitting around your bed. They spent most of their time with you because they took turns to look after you and if they weren't, they would take a nap or a book to read in your room.

  You were resting on your bed, mentally wiped out when you heard Daehyun's soft voice.

  "It's the last choice. If it still doesn't help, we'll send her to the hospital." 

  "What's the last choice?" You heard Youngjae and then an unclear whisper.

  You tossed and turned around on your bed but you couldn't find a comfortable position. You had been lying on the bed for days, what could you expect? You were aching here and there but you had no energy to sit up. Your brothers did help you to sit up once in awhile but it was not enough. Your body still felt numb. 

  You flipped around with your eyes closed and felt a figure sunk on your bed, beside you. Next, a pair of strong arms came and enveloped you from your back. That pair of arms, it was so familiar. It definitely belonged to your beloved boyfriend, Kai but how was it possible? Your brother would never let him in your house. Unless...

  You could feel his chest leaned closely to your back but you didn't turn around. Not because you didn't want but you couldn't.

  "Hey baby. I missed you. I missed you so much." Kai croaked. The moment you heard his voice, you broke down. Tears poured out endlessly and you managed to call a word, "Oppa.." 

  Both of you kept quiet for a moment. The silence was as usual, comfortable and not awkward. All you did was allowed Kai to hug you and all Kai did was to hug you tightly. And after awhile, Kai got off your bed and adjusted your sleeping position so that your back was facing the wall and you were facing him.

  You finally opened your eyes. With Kai as the motivation, it seemed much more easier for you to open your eyes. You finally got to see Kai. The face you had wanted to see for days. Kai seemed much more handsome right now. Or maybe it was just because you missed him too much.

 "Oppa.." A tear escaped your eyes. "Shh.." Kai laid back down on the bed and faced you so that both of you were only inches away. He encircled his arms around your waist and you encircled your arms around his as well. As he was much taller than you, you weren't seeing his face, but his neck. You buried your face into his neck and he buried his face into your hair.

  "~~~ baby, was it nice?" He smiled into your hair. "It was awesome, oppa." You hugged him tighter.

  "Oppa.. For the past few days, I'm sorry.. I had a fight with my brothers. They found out they we played truancy and were against our relationship. Jongup oppa even.." You tried to hold back your tears. "He.." You couldn't bring yourself to say it."

  "It's okay, sweetie. You don't have to say it." He kissed your forehead. "We'll take it slow alright? They might not allow us now, but I'm sure they will, soon. I will prove to them that I can make you happy. Don't cry, sweetie. I told you before right, it hurts me to see you cry." He wiped a tear off your face and caressed your face.

  "Oppa.. I don't get why my brothers are being like this. Especially Yongguk and Jongup oppa. I don't like it when they're like that. Why are they against our relationship? Don't they want me to be happy? Because I'm only happy when I'm with you, oppa. Why can't they understand?" Your tears that you thought were long used up, came flowing out again.

  "Baby don't cry. I told you not to cry right?" He wiped off your tears with the ends of his grey long cotton sleeve. "We'll take it slow. I told you, I would let them approve me. Maybe their just jealous." He joked but you didn't laugh. "Okay, I mean, it's alright okay? I will not leave you. That's all that matters right?" He winked and gave you a light peck on your nose which managed to make you smile slightly.

  "Thank you, oppa." You shifted up a little, leaned in and got closer to him. Kai, on the other hand, got the message, shifted down a little and leaned in as well. When both of you were less than a centimeter away, Kai crashed his lips on yours and kissed you passionately. 

  This kiss was different, it wasn't slow. You wanted him a lot, as in you missed his kiss. You could also tell that Kai wanted you a lot, from the way he was kissing you. He was really impatient when he kissed you. For the past 6 days, none of you had seen each other and that meant that both of you didn't come in contact. You couldn't help but to miss his voice, his touch, his kiss, his everything.

  No one pulled away. No one wanted to break the contact and break the perfect moment. Only after awhile, Kai pulled away. He smiled and planted a soft kiss on your forehead. 

  "Seems like you had been practicing on holding your breath huh?" He winked and you couldn't help but to chuckle. "Of course, oppa. It's your turn now. You need to continuously practice." You

  While both of you were engrossed in the skinship, Yongguk was looking from the outside.

  "Look at her." He heard a voice behind him. It was Daehyun. "You see how happy she is in there? Are you going to continue to be such a selfish brother? You can't keep her with you for life. It's time to let her go. Now that she found her happiness, let her follow it. Because you see the boy in there? He can cure her. Trust me. They're too deeply in love." Daehyun told Yongguk whose eyes didn't left the both of you before he left.

  Yongguk stood there, lost in his thoughts. Daehyun was right. Kai was your happiness. If anyone would to take him away from you, it means that the person is also taking your happiness away from you. Yongguk nodded to himself. *Daehyun's right. None of us can cure us, except Kai. It's time to let her go. But how do I do that?* Yongguk's ego meant a lot to himself.

  Kai and you just laid there and appreciated the silence but Kai knew that he shouldn't lie there for long. He should do something. He stood up from the bed all of a sudden, causing you to be clueless. 

  "Oppa, why are you standing up?" You asked, obviously upset. You didn't want him to leave. Yet. Or perhaps, never.

  "I'll ask Daehyun Hyung to get the wet towel first alright? So that I can clean your face and your limbs. But I'll have to go to the washroom first." He smiled.

  "You can use the toilet in here, oppa." You pointed to the toilet in front, which was in your room.

  "I need to get Daehyun hyung. I'll use the one outside." He stooped down to your level and kissed your temple.

  "Oppa, come back quickly okay? I don't want you to leave me." You mumbled the last sentence but Kai heard it. He has sharp ears, perhaps?

  "I'll be back really soon. I would NEVER leave you." He emphasized on the word 'never' and tucked your long fringe behind your ear before leaving your room.

  When you told Kai how you felt, Kai knew he had to do something. He couldn't let you suffer anymore. He had to convince them to let both of you get together. He had to. When he saw you cry, he felt a thousand knives piercing through his heart. That was how painful it was.

  He told you that he had to get Daehyun hyung to get the towel and water and that he had to go to the toilet but no. It wasn't only that. He had to confront Yongguk Hyung. It was now or never.

  He left your room and saw Himchan there. "Hyung, do you know where Yongguk hyung is?" Kai asked politely. Himchan was fast. He got it immediately. He knew Kai wanted to talk to Yongguk about the relationship between both of you. He thought it was necessary too. Kai had to do something. He nodded and pointed to his room. "I share a room with him. He should be in that room." Kai bowed and thanked Himchan before heading to Yongguk's room.

  "Oh ya, hyung, I need a basin of water and a towel to clean ~~~'s limbs and face later. Can you help me get it? Or Daehyun hyung? And do accompany her first on my behalf. If she asks why I'm taking so long, tell her I have a stomach ache. Thank you." Kai turned back to tell Himchan. Himchan nodded and Kai headed for Himchan/Yongguk's room.

  *This boy.. I can't help but to admit he's going to be a good boyfriend. I have a feeling he would do anything to protect and to love ~~~.* Himchan shook his head and got the things ready and brought it up to your room.

  Kai stood outside the room and hesitated for awhile. To go in or not. Of course, to go in. *Yes, don't be a coward, Kim Jong In, just go in.* He reached out for the door knob boldly but pulled back immediately. *Oh right, I need to knock. God, Kim Jong In, you idiot.* He slapped his forehead and rolled his eyes before knocking the door. 

  "Come in." A dark and hoarse voice called out. 

  Kai reached out for the door knob and this time, he didn't pull back. He twisted it and stepped in with maximum confidence.
