*I feel so bad for lying to Oppa.* You pouted to no one in particular. There weren't anyone along the aisle you were walking anyway. *Hmm.. Where's the way to the reception?* You looked around for sign boards which might show the way to the reception area. 

  "It's either this or that." You heard a familiar voice saying but it was quite soft. You tilted your head. *Who's that? No harm to take a peek right?* You walked towards the familiar voice. "Okay." You heard another familiar voice. This time, you could recognized his voice. It was Kris. *Kris?* As you approached, you hid behind a white circular pillar. You were small enough to hide behind. You squinted your eyes to see Kris and Reom. "It's Kris and Reom. Why are they there?" You whispered to yourself. And the next thing you saw was so sudden, so shocking, so unbelievable. Reom approached Kris on her toes and.. She crashed her lips on Kris's.

  That moment, your heart shattered into pieces. And it hurt. A lot. You couldn't breathe. It was so pain, to the extent that your knees were about to give way. Without you knowing, your tears were flowing non-stop. You tried to speak but not a single word came out. Your mouth only formed the word 'ouch' as you held on tightly onto your chest. Were you so much in love with Kris? You were crying not because Reom kissed Kris but Kris didn't push Reom away. He didn't do anything and it seemed to you he was kissing her back. You knew there was something wrong but you would rather believe what you saw than what you thought.

  Your knees finally gave in but someone hugged you from the back  to keep you from falling and a pair of hands covered your eyes. You jumped a little at first, but eventually calmed down when you felt the familiarity. His touch was familiar but you didn't know who exactly he was. You couldn't be bothered either. You turned to him without looking at him and cried into his shirt immediately. You couldn't endure it. You had to cry everything out. He patted your back with one hand and the other, caressing your hair.

  "K-Kris o-oppa.." You managed to say despite crying badly. "Shh.." The person hushed you. You recognized his soothing voice. Kai continued to pat your shoulders as you continued crying. "Oppa.. How-" "Shh.. Don't say a thing alright?" His husky yet soothing voice warmed your heart. You became silent and cried your heart out as you hugged Kai tightly. 

  While you were crying, hugging onto Kai, someone had actually witnessed all these. Woohyun was about to approach you when he saw you hugging Kai.  He stood there. Just standing there, rooted to the ground. Just like how you felt when you saw Kris and Reom, his heart hurt too. He was supposed to be the one you were hugging and moreover, Kai was his enemy. He hated that. But you were crying, he knew he had to let it go. Maybe just this once. He looked at the bouquet of roses he was holding. "Maybe another day." He whispered to himself before turning to leave.

  Kai came back with two cups of warm milk that he managed to buy from somewhere. He sat down beside you on a wooden bench that was facing the sea. "Warm milk? I heard that it makes people feel better." It really does, to you. He opened your hands and handed you the milk. You gave him a small, not really genuine smile, but not on purpose though and sipped the milk bit by bit. You remained silent. Other than sipping the milk, you did nothing. Maybe just stargazing and breathing and blinking, and the list goes on. The silence made Kai felt uncomfortable but he remained silent. He knew you wanted some silence. He started tapping his fingers on the chair and shaking his legs. The silence made him not only uncomfortable but also nervous.

Sensing his discomfort, you placed your milk on the bench's arm-rest. "I'm alright." You turned to him and gave him a smile but your face showed otherwise. Your eyes were swollen and red, your nose was red as well. And your cheeks, were tear-stained. Kai couldn't help but to chuckle softly, not teasing of course. But he was hurting on the inside. He just didn't want to show it. "You look like a Rudolph." He pinched your nose lightly. "Rudolph's great. Rudolph helps Santa to give out Christmas prezzies." You smiled at the thought of Santa. You looked forward to Christmas the most out of all the festivals. Christmas is cold, yet warmth. Really ironic but it was true. The weather is cold yet Christmas gave the warmth feeling to people, having to gather together to celebrate in such a cold weather. Kai laughed and put his hand onto your shoulder. You looked at him before smiling again at him. A small smile.

  "Oh! Shooting star!" You gasped and closed your eyes immediately to make a wish. After making the wish, you opened your eyes and looked at Kai. "Made a wish?" He asked you. "Yup, I made one." "What's the wish?" "No, I can't tell you. If I said it out, it wouldn't come true." You shook your head and refused to tell Kai. "You know what I wished for? I wished you felt better. Because of me." Kai looked straight into your eyes.

"Stop crying because of hyung." He was referring to Kris of course. "He doesn't deserve your tears." You could hear the seriousness in his words. *How can I not? Seeing the one I love, kiss my kind of good friend. How great can I feel?* You thought. "I don't like it when you cry. I don't like seeing the one I love cry." *Was this some kind of confession?* Kai didn't look away. He continued looking into your eyes. He was really serious. But because of the awkward stare and his sort of confession, you looked down at your shoes to avoid his eyes. But instead, he held your chin and lifted it up to make you look at him again. "Please. Stop crying in front of me, because of another guy. It hurts me." He started hitting his chest. "It hurts me. A lot. Because I love you." *This is definitely a confession.* Tears were blurring his vision. You could see that his eyes were wet but he didn't let a tear roll down. "I'm sorry Oppa." You looked down again. You felt guilty. You never had the intention to hurt him. Moreover, you didn't know who you love. Yet. You couldn't tell him you love him because you weren't sure. "It's okay. You don't have to tell me the answer today. Tell me when you're ready. I'll wait for you. And even if you didn't choose me, it's alright." You nodded your head. You weren't ready. Not ready to tell him your answer. At least not yet.

  Soon, you were tired of all the crying, you fell asleep on Kai's shoulders. Kai gazed at you tenderly. He curled a strand of your hair behind your ears. "Why can't you tell that I love you so much? I love you, Lee ~~~. I really do." He shed a tear.

  You opened your eyes slowly having the beautiful sunrise to greet you. You felt a weight on your head and realized that you had fallen asleep on Kai's shoulders earlier and Kai had fallen asleep on you as well. You  felt uncomfortable but you couldn't move. Kai's head was on yours. Just like Kai could feel that you were uncomfortable, he woke up and sat up, lifting his weight off you. "Morning." He greeted you. Your swollen eyes made him a little uncomfortable. Not that kind of uncomfortable but uncomfortable because he couldn't stop you from crying. "Morning." You greeted back. "What a beautiful sunrise." You nodded in agreement. After the sun rose fully, both of you decided to go back to your individual rooms to sleep for awhile more before all of you gathered at 8 for another day of activities. 

  "Let's get some ice to ice your eyes on the way back." Kai pointed to your eyes. "My eyes?" You touched your eyes and could feel the swollen. "Oh right." Both of you got some ice and you started icing your eyes to lessen the swell. Hopefully.

  "I'll send you back first." Kai offered. You nodded and lead the way to your room. An image of Woohyun popped up in your mind all of a sudden. "Crap!" You cupped your mouth immediately. "What's wrong?" Kai asked out of concern. "Nothing." You shook your head fervently. Kai looked at you with many question marks on his face but continued to walk anyway. *I forgot about Woohyun.* You got your phone out immediately and found a message from Woohyun. 

  '~~~, something cropped up last night. I couldn't look for you. Sorry. How about another day?' That was what the message wrote. But nothing cropped up last night, Woohyun looked for you. And he saw you hugging Kai, not only were you and Kai heartbroken, he was as well. He wanted to approach you but he thought it was better not to interfere at that time. He felt that it would be better if he approached you another day. Maybe during his birthday?

  'Alright Oppa. It's okay. Something cropped up last night for me as well. Sorry. Text me when you're available then.'

  'Okay, see you soon then. (:'

  Seeing you texting busily, Kai couldn't help but to feel a little jealous. He couldn't help but to think if you were texting another guy. Which you were.

  You got your key out from your pocket and unlocked the door. "Omo. All of you are still here?" You stepped back knocking into Kai. Kai walked in front of you and looked into your room. Everyone was there. EXO was still there, your brothers were still there as well. And Reom of course, she was lying on the chair, but asleep. Both you and Kai stepped into the room and closed the door. The boys were all awake. Only Reom was asleep. Perhaps she was a heavy sleeper. Kris caught your attention. He was looking at you then Kai, wondering why you were with Kai. Jealous as well, of course. The images of Kris and Reom appeared in your mind again. You closed your eyes and shook it away, avoiding Kris's eyes. "~~~, why are you with Kai? Aish, you two, what were you two last night? Do you know we were so worried about you?" Baekhyun partially scolded the both of you. "Sorry hyung." Kai apologised. "I wasn't worried about you. Only ~~~. Why would I even be worried about you?" Baekhyun gave Kai the 'What were you thinking' look. "Whatever." Kai rolled his eyes.

  "So what were you two doing last night? Huh? Not that right?" Baekhyun teased. "Hyung!" Kai frowned his eyebrow a little but he was red. Totally red. You grew red as well. "Okay, I shall not tease you. But only you know what both of you were doing last night." Baekhyun winked at you which made your ears grew hot. "What did they do?! Sleep together?!" Zelo yelled out and stormed towards Baekhyun, demanding an answer. "Woah, chill." Baekhyun pushed Zelo away and Jongup ran over to pull Zelo away. *Sleeping together? We were. But not that kind of sleep.* Both you and Kai thought. Other than Zelo, your other brothers were mad and confused. What happened between you and Kai?

  "Alright guys, let's go to sleep. You all must be tired waiting for me. Come on, let's sleep." You took off your coat and jumped onto the sofa. Daehyun had wanted to talk to you but since you were tired, he decided to talk to you tomorrow. The boys laid down and slept as well. On the floor. Immediately, you were knocked out. Too tired from all the dramas last night. While you were sleeping, Daehyun approached Kai. "Hyung?" "I don't care what you two were doing last night but it better not be what I'm thinking it might be. And just for your information, treat our girl well if it just so happens that you get together with her. And by the way, my brothers and I are really sticky when it comes to ~~~ getting into a relationship. Prepare to face a tough time if you're dating her. It's going to be hard to gain our consent." Finishing, Daehyun walked away without waiting for Kai's reply. Kai sat there and a million thoughts ran through his head. He sat there thinking about what happened last night, thinking about whether you would accept him, thinking about how life would be if he was with you. *As long as I can be with ~~~, I don't care about how hard it would be. I would persevere.* And after Daehyun approached him, Youngjae approached him soon after with Jongup. "Kai, I advise you to stay away from our girl. Hurt her and i'll kill you."Jongup warned Kai. "I can see her eyes were swollen. You better watch out. Don't think of getting together with her." Youngjae told Kai whatever was on his mind and walked away with Jongup. Youngjae was really straightforward. Kai sat there clueless. *It wasn't even me. I wasn't the cause of her tears. It was Kris... I guess it's gonna be hard. To get together with ~~~. To even communicate with her brothers.*

  After waking up at 8, all of you headed for the water activities. You weren't so comfortable with Reom. You tried not to talk to her as much as possible and as for Kris, you avoided him. You totally avoided him. Your brothers took care of you a lot that day and Kai didn't even approach you. Maybe it was your brother's idea for him to stay way from you. You didn't know, but it was. And soon another day was over. All of you went to your respective rooms to sleep. Kris tried to approach you but you pushed him away. You would give an excuse whenever he wanted to talk to you.

  You were packing your luggage, keeping your unused clothes and used clothes in a plastic bag before putting them in the luggage. "~~~, I'm going into my room to sleep!" Reom yelled out from the living room since you were in your room. You hesitated a while whether or not to reply her but decided not to reply later. She won't bother if you replied or not anyway. After packing your luggage, you went to the toilet to wash your face and changed into your pajamas. Just as you were about to tuck in, a knock came on the door. Not on your room door, but the living room door. *Who would it be at this hour?* Since Reom was a heavy sleeper, she wouldn't wake up. You sat up on the bed. *Should I open or not? What if a stalker or ert's outside?* Your thoughts started running wildly. 

  'It's me. I'm outside.' Your phone prompted you. Daehyun had messaged you. "Oppa?" You stood up and brisk walked to the door to find Daehyun standing there. "Oppa, why are you here at this hour?" Daehyun must be here for some reason. *He must have found out about something again. Oh boy.* He was the most concerned about you. Not saying that your other brothers do not bother about you, but other than Yongguk, Daehyun was always watching out for you. He would make the extra effort to talk to you. "Let's go to the seaside, ~~~, to talk." His hand reached out for yours as he smiled. "Why Oppa?" You asked, confused about Daehyun wanting to talk to you all of a sudden. "Is there a reason for me to talk to you. Is it wrong to have some siblings bonding time?" He raised his eyebrow before smiling again. Smiley boy Daehyun. "Right." You smiled back and held his hand tightly as you followed him after getting your coat. Whenever Daehyun smiled, you would automatically smile as well. Like others said, smiling is contagious. But Daehyun's one, is extremely contagious. His smile is oh-so-perfect. 

  "Warm milk?" Daehyun got two cups of warm milk as he approached the bench you were sitting. It was the exact same place where you and Kai had sat last night. And just like Kai, he brought two cups of warm milk. It was like a replay of yesterday, just that it was Daehyun, and not Kai. Again, you couldn't help but to think back at the accident that happened last night, you still could not figure out what was happening. Your heart was still aching. You wanted to approach Kris, to ask him what happened, ask him the reason behind that kiss. But you just weren't confident enough to approach him. Basically, you were a coward. You didn't want to know the truth because you're afraid it might hurt you. Besides, what could be the reason behind that kiss? Kris was drunk? Reom was drunk? It was too dramatic to be true. Too fake to be true. It would Only appear in the dramas. You tried not to think about it and focused on drinking your milk and your talk with Daehyun. Here comes another round of heart to heart?
