You woke up because of your message ringtone which rang. You received a message from Woohyun.    '~~~-ah, I heard you saved our lives. Thank you so much. (: I owe you something.'

  *Oh, I haven't visited them.* You replied Woohyun immediately. 'No problem, Oppa. Are you alright now?' After texting him, you texted Daehyun that you would be out for a walk but instead, you went to look for Infinite. Though Kai was still not out from the Operation, just like what he told you, you had to believe him. And so, you did.

  "Oppa!" You burst into the ward Infinite was in. You saw Woohyun sitting on the bed, texting. He was most probably texting you. Hoya and Dongwoo was reading some magazine. Sungyeol, SungJong and L was watching the TV while Sunggyu was just resting on the bed. The moment you came in, the magazine that Dongwoo was holding flew out of his hands. "Aish, oppa. Don't worry. It's not like I don't know what you're reading. I know what you're reading. Playboy magazine? Though I don't read them." You , winking. Dongwoo and Hoya looked away, red.

  "~~~!" Woohyun called out your name, clearly over the moon. "Oppa!" You smiled as you walked to him, greeting the other Infinite oppas one by one as you walked by them. He attempted to stand up but winced in pain as he clutched onto his stomach. "Oppa, don't stand up." You pushed him gently back on his bed. Woohyun smiled to you but his smile disappeared soon. He held your chin gently and examined you. *My bruise.* You backed away from him, not wanting him to see your bruise. "What happened, ~~~?" He whispered softly. He pulled you back beside him gently. 

  "I fell from the stairs." You laughed, a little to loud. Woohyun rolled his eyes. "Who are you trying to bluff?" You looked down and pouted. "Reom, my classmate got her men, also the black dogs to kidnap Kai Oppa and me. Then EXO and my brothers came to save us. Though we're hurt badly, none of us lost our lives. But.. Kai oppa.. His still in the operation room. It has already been a day.." You started to sob as you gave him a summary of what happened earlier. "Reom? That's a familiar name." Woohyun frowned as he thought really hard. "Wait, hyung! It's Reom! That !" Woohyun yelled out to Sunggyu who shot up from his bed. *Wait, they know Reom too? They agree that Reom's a too?* 

  "Oppa, you all know Reom too?" You looked around to see Infinite's reaction. They were all fuming. *Did I ask a wrong question? Why are they so angry?*

  "~~~-ah, can you come here for awhile, I want to talk to you." You looked at Sunggyu, a little confused at the sudden question. But you got up from the seat beside and walked towards him anyway.

  You sat beside him and asked, "Yes, Oppa?" "I'm sure you're really curious about the black dogs right? I think it's time for me to tell you." He took a deep breath and started, "Do you know why they're always after us? Because I was Reom's ex-boyfriend. And when I found out that she betrayed me, I left her. After that incident, Black dogs would come after us very often. I don't know why they're being like that when it was Reom who betrayed me. It was her fault, not mine. And because of that.. We left EXO. We used to be very good friends with them. But we were too close to them. And because of black dogs, I'm very afraid that they might get hurt. I wanted to leave Infinite as well. I didn't want to get them into trouble but they 'protested'. Those silly boys. They're my family. We go through thick and thin together and if I were to lose any one of them, I don't know if I would continue to live. And until now, we still cannot defeat the black dogs. They're too strong and too many for us. We can't fight back." 

  You tried to digest the story Sunggyu told. *Why is everything so drama? Gosh.* "They're defeated already, oppa. Most probably. Thanks to EXO, Block B an my brothers." You told Sunggyu what happened yesterday. The boys crowded around Sunggyu's bed to listen as well. ", she's a major ." Hoya frowned his eyebrows in disgust. You chuckled but you definitely agreed.

  "Oppas, I think you all owe EXO an apology, right?" They all nodded as they lowered their head. "Don't worry, Oppa. They'll forgive you." You ensured them as you patted L and SungJong's shoulders. "Besides, I'll bring EXO over only when Kai's out from the operation room. That means,you all still have time to prepare your script." You joked earning a small, nervous jab from Sungyeol.

  "Oppa, I heard it was your birthday yesterday." You turned to Woohyun. "I'm sorry I didn't wished you on time." You pouted. "You did. You wished me previously when I was in the ambulance, remember?" Woohyun reminded you. "That didn't count.." You felt really guilty. "Then you can celebrate with me after I'm discharged then." He grinned from ear to ear as he showed his famous aegyo. "Eew, Oppa. Enough enough." You hit him a few timed on his arm as both you an Infinite laughed at his failed aegyo.

  You were laughing at the choding Yeol's joke together with Infinite when you received a call from Daehyun. "~~~, Kai's out of the operation room already. Come to room 125." Your eyes rounded in surprise. You were elated. "Oppa's out of the operation room?! I'm coming now!" You hung up on Daehyun immediately and screamed out for joy. "YAY! Oppa's out of danger!" You smiled widely, showing your teeth. "Go quickly!" Woohyun pushed you towards the door. "I'll come back tomorrow. With EXO." You emphasized and ran out of the room excitedly. While Sunggyu was thinking of how to explain to EXO, Woohyun felt empty inside the moment you left the room. Because he knew Kai was more important to you, than him.

  "Oppa!" You burst into the room again, this time it was the room Kai was in. You softened immediately and walked in slowly as you saw Kai's frail body lying on the bed and Daehyun seating at the small sofa by the window. "~~~, Kai's still unconscious but doctors said he's out of danger already." Your eyes welled up with tears as your heart ached. You walked slowly towards Kai, your eyes without even leaving him. You sat down on the side of the bed beside him. "Oppa, please wake up." You held his hand up and leaned your face on his hand. You started sobbing uncontrollably. It wasn't like Kai was already that but you just couldn't help it.

  "~~~, I'll go out first." Daehyun patted your shoulders and left the room. He wanted to give you some time alone with Kai.

  "Oppa, wake up. Please wake up.. I'm so sorry I got you into this state. Please don't die. I will not forgive myself if you really go. I've got so many things I've not told you, you know? You have to listened to what I've got to say first, oppa." You stopped crying for a while, struggling to get a clear view of his face. You were too focused on crying you didn't notice his hand twitch. "Oppa, you're the one who understood me the most, cared for me the most, accompanied me the most. Oppa, I love you." You said the last sentence really softly. You kissed his hand softly, your tear dripping onto his hand. As if your tear was the activation button, you felt Kai's hand twitched. It already did just now. Just that you didn't feel it.

  "O-Oppa?" Kai's hand continued to twitch. "I'll call the doctor." You pulled your hand out to go but Kai grabbed your hand. "I heard what you said." Kai whispered huskily to you as it was hard for him to speak properly because of his wound, which was hurting. *He heard? What? But I said it really softly.* But coming to think of it, it wasn't a bad thing that he heard you. "Oppa.. I didn't say anything.." You looked away with embarrassment but you heard Kai chuckle weakly. "I'll check that with you later. Go get the doctor now. I'm hurting." He teased you. "O-oh right." You ran out quickly for the doctor.

  Suho had gone out to talk to the doctor while EXO gathered in Kai's room. Youngjae had something to do, which Jongup said he had to as well and Yongguk and Himchan had to work. Jongup and Youngjae, most probably busy with their girlfriends. You could sense it. Because, they were more sensitive and caring towards you recently. That is what a girlfriend can do to his boyfriend. Lastly, Daehyun had gone out to buy something for you to eat. They laughed and joked, Kai hurting once in awhile.

  "Guys, can I want to talk to ~~~ for awhile?" Kai rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "You can talk. ~~~ is just beside you, dude." Tao raised his eyebrow wondering why Kai needed permission to talk to you. "Stupid, he wants to talk to her alone." Xiumin gave Tao a light smack on his head, making Tao sulk.

  "No problem, we'll leave." Chanyeol winked. "Come on guys, let's go for lunch." Baekhyun got the signal too. They laughed and left one bye one. *No don't leave. Kai's probably going to ask me what I said just now.* Kris left the room last and reluctantly. He didn't want to leave the room. He didn't want to let the both of you together, alone. Call him selfish but he would rather be a er than to leave the room. But he left eventually because he was given no choice. He can't possibly say he wanted to stay, right? That would be awfully weird.

   As soon as all of them left, Kai spoke. "Come here. Sit here." Kai patted the space on the bed, beside him, still lying on the bed. He had no energy to get up. You sat there like he asked you to. "I think I heard you say something just now. Would you mind if you repeat it to me?" Kai winked cheekily. "I do." You stuck your tongue out though you're embarrassed to the maximum. "Come on, say it." He encouraged you. You hesitated a little. "I said.. I love you." You looked into his eyes. "As a brother! I didn't finish my sentence just now." You smiled cheekily. "Really?" He lowered his head, upset. "Yup. I need to pee now. Excuse me." You made up an excuse and dashed into the toilet.

*I know what you were saying just now. You definitely had already finished your sentence. I'm going to get you to say that one day.* Kai thought. Meanwhile, you splashed the cold running water which was flowing out from the tap onto your face. You were flushed and you didn't know why you just couldn't bring yourself to tell him you like him. *Oppa, I'll tell you soon. Really soon. But let me confirm my feelings first.* You turned off the tap and walked out of the toilet.

  Upon Kai's request, you poured a glass of water for him. Before he got the glass from you, he noticed your bruise on your forehead due to your fringe which was not covering. He got the glass from you and placed it on the table at the side first. "What an ugly wound you have here." Kai touched your bruise softly which was on your forehead. "Come here." You moved in closer to him and he cupped your cheeks and gave you a sudden peck on your forehead. The touch of Kai's soft lip made your stomach churn with anxiety. It was soft and warmth. Unknowingly, your lips hitched upwards to form a smile. *My feelings are clear now. It's you, Kai Oppa. Why didn't I realise it earlier?*

  Daehyun as well as EXO came back from buying the lunch. After all of you had lunch together, Daehyun left the hospital to go back home to get your clothes for you to change. You took the opportunity to get EXO to visit Infinite. "Oppas, let's go somewhere." You suggested to EXO who turned their attention to you. "No, ~~~. I want to stay here. I've got to catch this show. I'm not going to miss it." Chen shook his head fervently. "Come on, let's just go." You pulled Chen who gave in immediately.
