You heaved a huge sigh, pulling the front door to a close. Your other hand fell limply at the side, a photograph clasped loosely between your fingers. A sudden creak of a floorboard snapped you out of your trance and you noticed that the kitchen light was on. You stuffed the photo in the pocket of your pajama pants before walking towards the dining room. “Mi Young ah, where exactly did you go?” Minhyuk asked skeptically, his hair standing up in all directions. “I went to your room to see if you were asleep but you were gone”, he added, shooting you a questioning gaze. You ignored his question, taking a sit on the counter beside him. “Insomnia again oppa?” You asked worriedly, cupping his face with your palm. Minhyuk smiled tightly, biting down on his lips. “I know you were out with Daehyun”, Minhyuk stated as a matter of factly. Though he didn’t show any signs of anger, his eyes willed you to explain yourself. You turned around to meet his gaze. “Why didn’t you tell me about this”, you whispered, slapping the photograph on the countertop. Minhyuk stared at the photo in disbelief. “How did you- I didn’t want to worry you”, He explained, eyes glistening with concern. “Worry me? Till when did you guys think you could keep such a thing from me!” your tone started to rise as frustration boiled within you. Your vision started to blur as tears begin to form. “Were you really thinking of listening to them?!” “Do you really want to break up with me!” Your voice wavered in slight desperation and you trembled, trying to suppress your sobs. Immediately, Minhyuk brought you into a hug. One hand had wrapped itself around the small of your back, the other cupping the back of your head gently. Your sobs grew less erratic when you collided with his chest. He held you tightly, resting his chin on the crown of your head until you had calmed down.  “Never, jagiya”, he whispered by your ear, patting your back comfortingly. “I’ll never leave your side”, he smiled against your temple.

As dawn broke, the roosters in the backyard crowed in a chorus and SungJae was the first to pry his eyes open. Shuffling around, he stretched his limbs and accidentally kicked Eunkwang in his chest. The leader groaned loudly, his eyes flying open as he writhed in the bedsheets. “! Sorry hyung”, he whispered, a tad too loudly as Peniel started to stir. Slowly, Peniel yawned as he sat up sleepily. “What are both of you doing awake so early in the morninggg”, He stifled another yawn, rubbing his eyes open. A tuft of hair stood up on the maknae’s hair as he too sat up, and Eunkwang couldn’t help but snort. “Wait, where’s Minhyuk hyung?” Peniel suddenly muttered, looking over at the empty space beside him. Eunkwang shrugged, folding the bedsheets up in a neat triangle. “Since we’re awake, we might as well cook breakfast for the rest”, He said with a small smile. Sungjae nodded briefly and Peniel scrambled to put on a shirt. Together, the 3 of them stumbled down the stairs and Sungjae flipped the light switch on.
“Hang on there’s someone in the living room”, Peniel whispered curiously. Eunkwang immediately shuffled towards the giant futon couch, eyes lit-ing up as he waved the other 2 boys over. “OMG! Hyung and Noona are sleeping together!” Sungjae screamed uncontrollable, bursting out in fits of giggles. Both eunkwang and Peniel slapped their palms over the maknae’s mouth, rolling their eyes. “Awwwwww” “They are so cute”, Peniel couldn’t help but chuckle seeing you and Minhyuk asleep on the couch, arms still wrapped around each other. Sungjae let out another loud squeal, earning a glare from Peniel as Minhyuk sat up sleepily. Eunkwang chuckled as his friend blushed embarrassingly, trying to crawl off the sofa without waking you up. “Good morning hyung”, Sungjae teased cheekily, earning a sheepish grin from Minhyuk. The grin soon faded as Minhyuk gestured at the 3 boys to follow him into the kitchen.

“I have to talk to you guys”, He muttered, taking out a carton of milk from the fridge. “What’s up hyung?” Peniel chimed, grabbing 4 glasses from the counter. “It’s BAP. Miyoung already knows”, Minhyuk sighed, gulping down his milk furiously. “WHATTT”, Eunkwang exclaimed, eyebrows furrowed. “How did noona find out?” Sungjae asked suspiciously, blinking in surprise. “She met daehyun last night”, Minhyuk explained, trying to keep the low growl from escaping his mouth. “No way”, Sungjae growled and Minhyuk nodded, fists closing tightly around the glass in his hands. “I’m not letting them get away with this”, he frowned. “It’s time we confront them”, Peniel stated firmly, a glint in his eyes. “I agree. What you do think hyung?” Sungjae asked EunKwang eagerly. “But not before we call for some backup”, Eunkwang smiled, shooting Minhyuk a knowing look.
