All throughout the house, played the soft instruments of classic music. The strings rose and fell in long notes, lending to the subtly romantic atmosphere. In the library, the musical notes weaved through the pages of old collections of books, creating whimsical undertones that floated by. Two bodies frozen in a hug, oblivious to the seconds of time ticking by; as if time had stopped for them and only them. Feeling his arms wrapped around you and the warm gentle breaths on your shoulder, you couldn't help but smile. You wanted to freeze this moment in your memory, and just stay like this for a little while more. Min Hyuk though, thought otherwise. Not because he didn't enjoy the feeling of holding you in his arms, and breathing in the familiar scent of your hair, but because he was distracted by the ugly red ring snaking around your small right wrist. You felt his body stiffen behind you, as he released you abruptly. Your eyes shot open questioningly, a little disappointed by his sudden actions. With rigid movements, he reached out to gently clasp your wrist, guiding you around until you faced him.  You tilted your head curiously, studying his pained expression. With furrowed eyebrows, he stared at your wrist intently, his eyes registering an unmistakable flash of guilt. With a brave grin, you tried to pull your bruised wrist away from his grasp, wanting to ease his sense of remorse. However, the slight friction between your wrist and his fingers caused pressure to your bruise, making you wince involuntarily. At your grimace, he looked up at you worriedly, cradling your limp hand between his warm,tender ones.  "did I do this to you?", he asked shakily, keeping his head down with his gaze fixed on the red-purple mark. You could hear the regret in his voice, as clear as the worry evident in his actions. "it's nothing, oppa... You don't have to feel bad ", you started to explain reassuringly before you were interrupted by the reflection of your unconvincing smile in his tear-glazed eyes. "How can it be nothing! I hurt you Mi Young!", he shouted in a strangled voice that matched the wild look in his eyes. This was the most broken you'd ever seen him. Your heart pinched in pain, as you watched him slumping in frustration, his head hanging low, refusing to meet your eyes. You took a step towards him, and tentatively placed your small hands on either sides of his face, before gently lifting up his head until his eyes met yours. His eyes frantically searched yours for any response. Any sign of anger,disappointment or sadness. Your response was nothing he expected. Looking deep into his sad eyes, your face slowly carved into a genuine smile. Your cheeks flushed with joy, and your eyes curved in a rare eyesmile. Slight dimples danced on your cheeks (I actually call them whiskers hehe), and without any words exchanged, he knew your response. It didn't matter to you, and you forgave him. A slow smile formed against his sadness-filled features, mirroring your expression. He placed his palm on your right hand, which was still cupping his face and you blushed slightly. "I'm so sorry", he whispered one last time, putting the emotional exchange earlier into final words. Your smile widened, framing your small fair face with natural beauty he loved the most.     A little while later, the both of you exited the library, faces decorated with radiant smiles. As you walked into the living room, you caught sight of Hye Won in the kitchen and shot her a reassuring smile. With a chuckle, she gave you a thumbs up and gestured you towards the stage. Btob were going to perform a few songs for the crowd tonight, and Min Hyuk explained that their performance was essential for good press and to attract sponsors. Before he joined the other members on the makeshift stage, you squeezed him gently on the shoulder, as if silently saying: "hwaiting oppa!" you knew he understood because he ruffled your hair affectionately before taking the stage. As btob performed insane, Hye won and you found each other In the crowd, and cheered loudly for the boys. Whenever hyunsik sang, Hye Won would giggle and gush, making you chuckle at her cuteness. Who were you to judge, you were almost as bad. Seeing Min Hyuk rap made you smile brightly, noticing the bad-boy/fierce image he was portraying which was a total opposite of his true personality. He's such a sweet guy, you thought to yourself. As he rapped the last line, "chukesso!", he winked fiercely in your direction, sending your heart racing with cartwheels. "did he just..." Hye won asked in disbelief, making your face flush exceedingly. "Unniee~", you whined while hitting her playfully. After performing insane, the mood changed to a more light-hearted one as they performed "Monday to Sunday" for the first time. As peniel narrated the introduction in English, you cheered loudly at his perfect pronunciation. "no matter what day of the week it is, you're the only girl on my mind. Come on", he rapped with confidence, a change from his usual shyness. You swooned at his cuteness, freely fangirling alongside Hye Won. Eun Kwang sang the chorus perfectly,hitting the high notes flawlessly and living up to his label as a singer with "honey vocals". Ilhoon and sungjae were so adorable as they showed the playful side of the maknae line. Changsub and his ageyo. you shook your head jokingly, having no choice to admit that he probably had better ageyo than you. As the performance came to an end, you clapped vigorously alongside everyone else, feeling your heart swell with pride. They are going to be so successful, I just know it, you thought happily before heading off to congratulate the members. "How were we Noona!", sungjae asked eagerly. "You're always asking me that you know. As usual, you guys were awesome!", you replied with a glint in your eyes, reaching out to ruffle his hair, forgetting that he was probably more than a head taller than you. "Aish. I swear This maknae is the biggest ever", you muttered with a large smile as he walked away. At that moment, Hyun sik made his way towards the both of you. Hit with sudden romantic inspiration owed to Cupid himself, you glanced evilly at a dumbstruck Hye Won. "hey guys, I'm just going to get some punch. Be back soon", you chirped innocently, ignoring hye won who has shooting daggers at you. After giving Hyun sik a knowing smile, you disappeared into the crowd with no intention of returning. "I saw that", a familiar chuckle called out from behind you. You spun around eagerly, a sly smile plastered on your face. "they'll thank me for it someday", you exclaimed proudly, smiling brightly at him. "You and your ways", he said fondly, flicking your forehead playfully. "yahhhh oppa!", you feigned that it hurt, and the both of you burst into fits of giggles. "Come with me," he said suddenly, slipping a hand around your back to lead you through the crowd. A warm smile graced your face, a result of his gentlemanly actions. To your surprise, he led you up the stairs and into a empty hallway. With a sheepish smile, he pulled out a smile first aid box from inside his tuxedo. "we'd better do this inside your room or something", he said upon realizing that there wasn't any chairs in the hallway. You nodded meekly, rather embarrassed at the idea but led the way to your room. Once inside, min Hyuk gestured for you to sit on the bed. He then dragged a chair over beside the bed and sat down swiftly on it. "give me your hand", he asked cutely, his face all serious, clearly getting too into his role of a doctor. "I don't know... Are you sure you're certified," you teased, pretending to be skeptical. When Min Hyuk started to pout, you laughed and gave him your arm. He smiled in satisfaction, and started to apply some medicated cream around the bruise, with noticeable familiarity. You watched him as he seemed engrossed in dressing your wound. As he tied the bandage around your wrist in a secure knot, you admired his skill. "wow, you're really good at this", you admitted with awe. "I told you so!" he insisted, eyes twinkling at your compliment. "There, all done", he said while closing the first aid box with vigor. You gently the bandage with your other hand, smiling at how the pain had greatly reduced even upon contact. "It's so much better!", you exclaimed happily, beaming at him. He chuckled at your cute reaction, before putting the chair away. "Wait, we're still missing one last thing that'll make it all better", he smiled shyly as you looked at him confused. "What's that oppa?", you asked with a bewildered expression. Slowly, Min Hyuk bent down to gently take your hand, leaving your skin tingling with his touch. He carefully brought it towards his face, and planted a soft kiss over the bandage, his lips barely grazing the surface of your wrist. Immediately, an intense pink radiated from your cheeks as you blinked at him, shocked.
