It just so happened that it all started out as a joke. Some friend took it seriously and the rest followed. 

After a long break from school everyone was busy cramming for project they didn't finish from all the procastinating and laziness during the break. 

Suzy, along with her groupmates were very busy, meticulously doing final touches for their project in biology. When one of her groupmates about her ideal guy, Suzy without an ounce of serousness in her, pointed at one random guy she saw on the second floor of the building they were facing, and said that she liked that guy for some time now. Because of the half-serious, half-random atmosphere the group was in, Suzy's statment became misleading. 

Myungsoo, that random guy is a one year Suzy's junior, but of the same age as her. Myungsoo without denying can be considere on the the school's "silent prince". With a cold facade, Myungsoo seemed to be hard to approach, but actually he is one kind kid. Unlike those self-proclaimed hearthrobs of the school, Myungsoo preferred to remain low-profile. Myungsoo was still a freshman then, the school haven't took notice of him. 

Suzy, without knowing who that random guy was, was confident nobody would take her earnest joke seriously. One morning, Cristelle, Suzy's classmate from advance class, approached Suzy with a big, weird smile on her face saying that Suzy would be so happy with what she'd give her. She handed her an evelope, inside was a wallet-size picture of Myungsoo and a small sheet of paper, written on it was Myungsoo's mobile phone number. 

Suzy never had any interest with Myungsoo at first so she just set his picture aside and never did she had any thoughts on liking this one random guy she just saw to joke around with her friends. Which was to her a ridiculous idea, Contrary to what her friends think. 

Suzy thought that it wouldn't hurt if she'd try to send a message, since she had plenty of phone credentials that she didn't want to put to waste so she sent Myungsoo a message.  But there was no reply at first.. 

Suzy found it amusing to ride with her joke because her friends would squeel and have fun and talk to her because of Myungsoo. It made her feel that she belonged. With her friends, one by one were having relationships of their own or were starting to date someone. 

Due to the insistant clamor of her friends, she once again tried to send Myungsoo a text message. 

One plain, "HI". 

That was all it took for the unexpected to happen.
