The search began again. Tiffany tried to focus on looking for the museums and art gallery around Paris while Sooyoung stayed to accompany her anywhere. With all patience, they visited and marked all the possible places, one by one. Tiffany even asked each security man at each place just in case they ever recognized Taeyeon. After lunch today, Tiffany had a call from Jiwoong, Taeyeon's older brother. It was a deadlock as well. No contact shown by Taeyeon and she didn't use her bank account or credit cards since the last time she did it back when she arrived in this city for the very first time. Until that day, everything remained the same. Honestly, it disturbed Tiffany a lot on how strange it was that Taeyeon didn't even use her bank account. It's not like she's a criminal who was hiding from the cops.
 

"Tiff, Irene just called me and she wants to meet me somewhere." Tiffany starred at her sharply. Sooyoung looked clumsy. "She'll fly back to Korea tomorrow morning. I think she just needs a company."
"Irene is a beautiful girl, isn't she?"
"Yes. She is."
"Do you like her, Soo?"
"What? Why do you ask me this?" Sooyoung felt so uncomfortable with the question. "I know her since forever. We even studied at the same school until high school. She was there for me too. But that doesn't mean I'm into her or what." Sooyoung looked away and tried not to look at Tiffany. She didn't like the situation. "She's like a sister to me, Tiff."
"I think you should go. I'll be okay with Mathieu."
"Are you sure? You don't look okay."
"Why would I be not okay with that? You can meet whoever you want. I'm just your friend..." Tiffany sighed. "...who asked for help to find her long lost girlfriend. You can go now."
"Whoa... Now you're scolding me."
"I'm not."
"Okay... I'll leave. Take care. I'll contact you afterward. Bye."

Sooyoung left with a big doubt in her chest. She didn't understand Tiffany's reaction at all. 'What did I do wrong?' Sooyoung grumbled but chose to keep on going to a place that Irene requested her to meet. On the other side, Tiffany felt so bitter that Sooyoung left her for Irene, even though she was the one who asked her to do so. She couldn't forbid Sooyoung to meet somebody else, of course. She looked at the list of places she should visit for today. She took a deep sigh then moved on, an inch away from Sooyoung who's always in her mind recently. Suddenly, she looked back, looking at Sooyoung took a taxi and left.

She realized it might be a wrong choice, but she asked Mathieu to follow Sooyoung.

"Sooyoung unnie... Thanks for coming here." Irene smiled at her warmly. She was so happy to be able to see Sooyoung once again, without somebody else around. She thought Sooyoung would just refuse it right away, but she came. Even more, she was happy to know that Tiffany didn't follow. "I thought you'd come with Tiffany."
"Ah. She's busy looking for her girlfriend." Sooyoung sipped her coffee. "Thank you for visiting me, Irene. I see we both moved on from that day... Thank you for not getting mad again with me." Irene smiled, bitter. Moving on from her? It's never on her dictionary, at least not for now.
"Don't you think I deserve an explanation?"
