Chapter 9

A week after we bought our ring and having the week all by ourselves with no missions whatsoever, I asked HyunAe to have dinner with me outside.

I called her after the usual practice/training that we have every other day.

“Dinner?” she asked when I told her about it.

“Yeah. You haven’t cooked anything yet right?” I asked since she MIGHT.

“I haven’t since the fridge is now empty.” She somehow reminded me.

Crap. I have to chip in something for our grocery items…

“How about… eating dinner and grocery after?” I proposed.

“Alright. Where?” she gave in.

“How about… “ And I mentioned a restaurant near SM and our place.

“Ok… I’ll be there in a few.” She said and hangs up.

I quickly ran to the shower rooms and took a bath since I’m all sweaty and stinky.

“Sorry I’m late.” I told her when I saw her seating at the corner of the restaurant. “The traffic was heavy.” I explained.

I can tell from the look on her face that she’s not really happy with me being late.

I was really stuck at the hour long traffic that made her wait for almost an hour.

I called the waiter and we ordered.

She’s still not looking at me. AISH.

“Chagi…” i called as I pulled her hand and closed it with mine. “Mianhe… it was really traffic.”

She just looked at me this time and still refused to say anything.

I flashed her my I’m-so-sorry-i-didn’t-mean-it look and it is somehow working [I guess].

“Just don’t be late next time.” She said and I smiled. Phew. “If there’s a next time.” She added. Geez.

NOTE: don’t be late when you’re the one who asked her out. And LEAVE EARLY!!!
