Chapter 29

i woke up with a slight back pain. i fell asleep waiting for HyunAe to come home.

As i stood up, i noticed that a pillow was actually situated between my back and the couch to support my body. i don't remember putting any before i drifted to sleep.

weird.

"Hey. you're back." it was HyunAe.

"Yeah. seems like it." i answered flatly. i'm not really in the mood since what happened in the past week was still... haunting me...

"You're not replying to my messages." she said as we sat down at the table for our usual breakfast.

i was seating beside her and my head swung to her direction as i heard her. 

"I'm not? i'm not the one replying? you sure about that HyunAe?" i asked her. i was really,.... "I tried calling you everyday and i kept on getting your voicemail or tootootoot."

"Are you sure that I'M the one that you are calling?" she countered.

"Yeah! of course. i know your number. it's......." i recited her number. i finally memorized it because i was thinking that if i lost my phone, at least i could still text her.

"I told you that one got stolen!" she said with frustration. "You even replied to me with just two letters. 'O-K'."

i don't remember texting 'O-K'  since i find it annoying and all.

"Your phone got stolen?" i tried to clear things up.

"not really stolen. i lost it on your first day in China. i was using Heechul hyung's phone the whole time, just to text you."  she explained. i just looked at her. "Aish Donghae, if you're not believing, you can ask the camera man that was following me about it."

i just looked at the cameraman across us and he nodded with his camera for verification.

"Sorry." i finally said. those words don't usually go out of my mouth that easily, but when it comes to HyunAe... everything changes. i'm more than willing to fit to what HyunAe wants... stupid as it sounds, but hell yeah. "Hey." i called her.

"Hmm?" she 'said' as she ate a spoonful of cereals from her bowl.

"my mom wanted you to have this.," i told her and gave her the necklace. it was actually on my pocket.

she gladly took it and looked at it for a while. "Thanks."

i took it from her and touch her sides to forced her to face her back on me. 

"Wae-." she was about to ask but i swept her hair to her left.

i put on the necklace or her and locked it after. i placed her hair back and she positioned herself back to her original style of sitting.

"Thanks." she said again. and smiled.

i melted.

i was about to say something to her when the doorbell rang. i offered to answer it and when i came out, all i saw was the We Got Married mail box. 

mission. i totally forgot about these stuff.

i took the letter inside of it and went back to HyunAe. i sat down beside and we read the letter at the same time.

welcome home husband! now that you're home, a special visitor

will be invited to your house for dinner. The guest will arrive at 7pm

prepare something special!
