Chapter 44
Watching Over You [repost]
Chapter 44
After meeting her family, HyunAe and I had to get back to work. She got her schedule and deadlines all piled up and I, on the other hand, had to cram up the steps and learn the dance in just a short time.
The group had a lot to do for the week and that would mean not going home. Maybe I won’t be seeing HyunAe for a week.
I was used to all these works and practices that starts up at the morning and would usually ends up the morning of the next day.
On the 4th day of all work and no play, we were polishing the dance steps for the new song and I was teaching Kyuhyun one on one. My head was really hurting by doing the steps over and over for him. I was really getting tired of it and was dying to text HyunAe, but I can’t since he still won’t get the right steps and timing.
An hour passed and finally, we finished it all. I immediately went to my bag and got my phone. There was about a couple of missed calls and a text message from the PDs of We Got Married, asking where I am at the moment.
Instead of typing in a reply, I called them back.

PHONECALL
DH: hyungnim, why did you call?
PD: are you busy right now?
DH: [looks around] not really, just finished teaching Kyuhyun the dance and we’re off for the afternoon to rest. Why?
PD: how do I say this…
DH: waeyo? Something happened?
PD: you sure you can leave and you have the afternoon off?
DH: yeah. Of course. Why?
PD: HyunAe’s actually rushed to the hospital moments ago. Over fatigue.
DH: where? Which hospital?
PD: [says which hospital] are you co-.

As soon as I heard the name of the hospital, I grabbed my keys and ran to the elevator.
I was really worried sick about her. I mean, we are both working and no one can take care of the other that’s why this kind of thing happened.
“Yah. Where are you going?” EunHyuk asked when he saw me running to the parking lot.
“HyunAe.” I answered as I approach my car.
“Ah. That’s why you’re rushing.” He remarked in a teasing tone. “Be careful.” He added and I got in my car and went on.

“Which room?” I asked the receptionist when I arrived at the hospital. Hopefully, with that unfinished question, they knew who I was talking about.
“Room 304 of the west wing.”
After hearing that, I immediately ran to the elevator and went to her room. I was practically lost for about 10 minutes but still, I saw her room at the end.
“HyunAe-.” I said as I entered the room.
All her workmates are there and they were all looking at me with their index fingers on their lips.
Oops. I guess I was too loud.
“She’s sleeping.” One of them said.
“What happened?” I asked in a low voice to the whole group.
“We were rushing things to meet the deadlines and we’re up for almost 3 days now.” One explained.
All of them actually explained to me what happened but the first one was the only one that was processed by my brain since I was busy looking at HyunAe after that.
“We better get going.” Their boss said and I just looked at them. “We have to finish everything up. Take care of HyunAe will you?” he added.
“I will. And thank you for bringing her here.” I told them as they went out.
I was then felt with HyunAe. She was still busy sleeping.
I sat down on the chair beside her bed and held her hand, the one without the dextrose.
“Hey. I was really worried about you. You should take care of yourself more often when I’m not around for work. I can’t stand seeing you lying there with this needle on your hand okay?” I said even though I know that she won’t be hearing it. “Just rest Chagi-ah… I’m here for you.”
