As soon as we landed at China, I knew that we will busy and there is a big chance that I won’t be able to call HyunAe.

As we walked from the plane to the airport, fans were already screaming and all. Siwon had to carry Ryeowook’s bag so we can move to the waiting van outside.

When finally, we reached the van and took our seats inside, the resident manager told us our schedule for the day. And guess what? We’ll be heading to the TV station for a guesting at a late night show instead of going to our usual hotel to rest.

“Henry and Zhoumi are already at the station waiting for us. Take this travel to rest since the flight is quite long.” Manager hyung stated.

Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun tried to figure out a position in the car while I was looking for my phone.

“Hyung, can I borrow your phone? I just have to call HyunAe.” I asked since I can’t find my phone. Maybe it was on the other bag.

He hesitantly handed over his phone. I was about to call her when I realized that I don’t know her number. I mean, I didn’t memorize it!

“Hyung, don’t you have HyunAe’s number?” I asked. He just shook his head and continued arranging the schedule for this week.

Maybe the other members have her number…

“Yah. Do you know HyunAe’s number?” I asked them out loud.

Kyuhyun just covered his face with his jacket while Ryeowook and Siwon just shook their heads and went back to sleep.

How am I going to call her?

I tried to reach for my bag from the back of the van to find my phone. Luckily, I got the bag without tumbling.

At the bottom of the bag is my phone. I must’ve put it there, trying to hide it from the stewardess.

Immediately, I dialed HyunAe’s number.

“Please pick up… please pick up… please pick up…” I kept on saying, but she didn’t. I tried calling again for about 3 more times. I checked my watch and its just 10pm.

On the 6^th ring on my 4^th call, someone picked up.

“Chagi!” I exclaimed since I was trying to call her for how many times already.

“Oh. Just landed?” she asked in a groggy voice. Did I wake her up?

“Yeah. Sort of. Did I wake you up?” I asked since if I am, I would put down the phone in a short while to let her continue her sleep.

“Yea. But it’s okay. I was sleeping since I came back.” She said. “Are you on your way to the hotel?”

“No. we’re actually heading to a TV station here for a late night TV show guesting.”

“Shouldn’t you guys be sleeping first?”

“That’s what I thought we would be doing first… but Kibum hyung said we have schedule for tonight before going to the hotel.”

“Okay…”

Then there’s silence.

“HyunAe.”

“Donghae.”

We called at the same time.

“Yes?” I asked.

“Nothing… just making sure you’re still there.” She said.

“I’m not sleepy don’t worry.” I told her.

I don’t know if it’s a good sign or what, but the van was stuck in traffic for about 30 minutes so HyunAe and I are talking to each other for the whole duration of it.

“Hey. I have to go.” I told her when I we entered the gate of the TV station.

“Finally arrived at the station?” she asked.

“Yeah. As soon as you end the call, sleep okay?”

“I’m the one to end the call?”

“Yeah.” I told her as manager hyung woke up the others.

“Hey.” She called again.

“Yeah?”

“I got you some vitamins on the pocket of your clutch bag. Drink one before sleeping okay?”

“I will.” I replied.

“Okay. Good night.”

“Good night. Sweet dreams Chagi. I’ll text you up when we’re at the hotel and before I sleep.”

“Okay.” That’s the last thing she said and hanged up the phone.

Just in time, the van stopped and everyone started going out. I was at the last row of seats with Siwon so we were the last ones to come out.

“Hyung. Do you really have to smile when you’re talking to her over the phone?” Siwon teasingly asked as we went out. “You were also blushing like a highschool boy while talking.” he added.
