Chapter 11

I tried to mend things up with her for the whole day when she went back, but it was a total failure.

“Hyung… what should I do?” I asked Teukie hyung when I got in for training/practice the next day.

“Explain! That’s what you need to do. Or prepare something for her?”

“I already did that, but she’s not really interested to my explanations!”

“Well, that’s the only answer I have for your question.” He told me and tapped my shoulder. “Goodluck.” And he left.

I was about to press the code on the door when I saw the familiar mail box right next to it.

Mission?

I got the letter and went in. HyunAe is at the couch, watching TV while munching some chips.

“HyunAe-sshi…” I called and showed her the mission envelope.

After all the days/weeks that you’ve been together, it should be time for the usual HOUSEWARMING PARTY!!! Yes. Both of you should invite your own set of friends/significant others for them to meet the ‘partner’. Prepare! Invite everyone you want but be sure to feed them!

“When do you want to do it?” I asked her.

“I don’t know. My friend’s are always free but I know your friends are always busy.”

“The members would definitely make time for it.” I told her since I know Heechul hyung wouldn’t really miss it for anything else.

“You decide.” She said coldly.

SHEESH. I really can’t take the cold treatment she’s giving me these past few days!!!

“This weekend then.” I said. “I’ll tell them about this tomorrow.”

“Okay. I’ll text my friends about it tomorrow.” She said and continued watching Star Golden Bell.

I sat down beside her and grabbed her hand.

“Hey…” I called and pulled her closer. “It was just work… Ri In and I are just workmates. As far as I know, she’s dating Junsu.”

She didn’t say a thing and just focused her eyes to the TV.

“Chagi…”

“Let’s just drop it Donghae.” She said. “Please?”

“…”

“Please?”

“Ok…”

“Got everything done?” she asked when she got in.

“Almost.” I told her since I’m still preparing some of the foods that I bought on my way home.

“Need help?” she asked as she placed her bag at the couch and tied her hair.

“Uhm.. can you just mop the floor?”

“Sure. You sure you don’t need any other help?” she asked.

“Yup.” I answered and smiled.

“Donghae –ah.” She called a few minutes after.

“Waeyo? Need help?”

“Are you done with that?” she asked pointing at the pizza that I was doing.

“Yup. I’ll just pop the special HYUNHAE pizza at the oven and were done. Why?”

“Can you fix the tables now?” she asked. I gladly obliged.

While I was fixing the tables, the door bell rang.

“They’re here!” we both exclaimed and she opened the door.

“Unnie!” she said as she came in with her friends.

I stopped doing what I was doing and greeted them.

About 5 of her friends came.

“You want something to drink first?” I asked them as they sat at the couch. They just nodded.

HyunAe introduced us to each other when I came back with their drinks.

“Nice to meet you.” I just said and excused myself to finish the tables.

As if on cue, as soon as I finished the last table, the door bell rang again.

HyunAe was about to stand up and leave her friends when I gestured her not to since I’m already standing.

As soon as I open the door…
