Chapter 47

 

 

I wasn’t aware of the time the whole time that I was with HyunAe. We enjoyed the day together laughing our hearts out at everything that we do. And if we’re going to another ride, I’m still holding her hand. I’m never letting go. I won’t let go.

 

At around 8pm, we finally both realized that we were hungry again and tired from all the screaming, yelling and laughing that we did the whole day.

 

“Let’s go.” I told her and softly pulled her hand. We were walking side by side but then it seems that I’m not yet contended with that, I pulled her closer, having my arm around her, hand on her waist. HyunAe just looked at me. “What?” I asked. She just shook her head and smile back. So we continued walking around like that. I guess, we’re improving eh?

 

Halfway to the amusement park exit, I heard a few fan girls screaming their lungs off. Level 3?

 

“Hey. They are calling you.” HyunAe nudged me and looked at them.

 

I took a glance at them too and smiled my usual before continuing to the exit.

 

We were able to take about 5 steps when someone approached us. I don’t usually entertain them when I’m with someone but how can I say no to the 2 little girls before us. They are just plain adorable.

 

“Oppa… can we take a picture with you?” the taller girl asked, holding her camera with both hands. I guess she’s around 7?

 

I looked at HyunAe and she nodded. Well, she was busy eyeing the two kids. Especially the younger one.

 

“Sure.” I told them they almost screamed with joy upon hearing that. 

 

“I’ll take your picture.” HyunAe volunteered and got the camera from the girl.

 

Hesitant at first, the girls went around me. I squatted down to have the same height as them. 

 

“1... 2... 3...” HyunAe counted and soon, it was over.

 

I thanked them and smiled again.

 

“Oppa… can we take a picture with you and Unnie?” the little one asked.

 

I looked at HyunAe and she was shocked upon hearing that from them.

 

“S-sure…” she answered.

 

The kids’ mom came over when they called her to take our picture.

“Had fun?” I asked her as we wait for a bus that would take us back home.

 

“Yeah. I never thought I would enjoy amusement parks like that.”

 

Glad that I heard something like that from her even though there was no confirmation that it was because we’re together.

 

Just like what happened earlier when we got in the bus, I paid for the fare and we took the seats at the back. This time, we were the only passengers. It was as if we rented the bus for the night.

 

“You know HyunAe… when they told us earlier that we had to end the show soon without any reason, preferably 2 - 3 more weeks to go, I was really sad. I was enjoying everything with you but we have to end this soon. I know that day would eventually come but I didn’t know that it would be as soon as this… I know I’ve said this a lot of times before, but I’m saying this again. I love you… just you.” I looked at her after. It was not what I expected, HyunAe was leaning her head on the window, eyes closed. She’s sleeping. I carefully pulled her head and anchored her head on my shoulder. “You know, sometimes, I’m thinking that maybe you’re doing this on purpose. Sleeping on me when I’m confessing my feelings.” I told her and rested my head above hers with a smile creeping up my face.
