Chapter 7

“Yah hyung, what’s taking you so long?” Siwon asked when as we board the flight back to Korea.

“I weighed my hand carry bag again and I made sure that its safe.” I told him and showed him my bag.

“What’s in there anyways?” he asked again.

“Nothing. Just my gadgets and the usual.”

“But hyung, you don’t usually take that much time if it’s your usual stuff in there.”

“Aish. I got my present for HyunAe here.” I said as I sat down at my seat.

“Ohhh…. O-kayyyy. Not going to ask what is it since I know it’s for someone special.” Siwon said. I was about to hit him when he moved and I ended up hitting the chair. Ouch.

The whole flight was about 5 hours. It is almost midnight when we landed at the airport.

“Hyung, This way.” Siwon told me when he saw me walking to the other side of the airport.

“I’ll take the cab.” I told him but then Kibum hyung, our manager, called me too. “Hyung, I’m going straight to my house.”

“Oh yeah. I forgot that you’re married.” He said as he pushed the cart and pulled my bag. “We’ll just drop you off at your place. Security purposes.” He added.

“Chagi?” I called as I rang the doorbell for the 5^th time. Not yet home? I asked myself.

I pulled out the couple phone and dialed her number, maybe she’s out somewhere.

On the 8^th ring, she finally picked up.

“Yeobosaeyo?” she said in a raspy voice.

“HyunAe-sshi?”

“De?”

“Where are you?”

“Home… why?”

“Ah… at the new house or at the apartment you share with your friend?”

“New house.”

“Ah.. Chagi,”

“De?”

“Can you open up the door now? I’m standing outside.”

“Oh. Sorry.” She said before hanging up. “Sorry, I was sleeping.” She added when she opened the door for me.

“It’s okay.”

“Do you want to eat?” she asked when I sat down at the floor since we don’t have furnitures yet.

“No. I’m still full from the snack given at the plane.” I told her and scanned my bag for my gift. “Sorry to wake you up.”

“It’s okay. I was just practically sleeping the whole day. After your fellow members help me fix everything and eat, I fell asleep.”

“Sorry, I wasn’t able to help.” I told her. “Wait.” I stopped her when she was about to go back to her room. “I have something for you.” I added and handed her my gift.

It was an anklet that I saw at a shop in Thailand while I was looking for something to eat.

“I don’t know if you’ll like the design, but I found it cute enough since it's fishbones, so I bought it for you.”

“T-thanks…” she said. “You actually don’t have to…”

“But I want to.” I told her.

"Thanks again." She said and she went back to her room.

Time to sleep neh?

I was about to fix my ‘bed’ when she came back out with pillows and comforter.

“I already have a bed, this is all I can offer you.” She said shyly.

“no problem." i told her. "I’m fine with this. Thank you.” I answered and got the things from her.

“Uhm… Donghae-ah.”

“De?”

“Are you feeling sleepy?” she asked.

“No. not yet. Why?” I answered. I fell asleep at the plane so I’m fully up until now.

“Want to watch a movie with me?” she asked. “I borrowed one from Shindong.”

“Sure.” I said before fixing the TV and the player as she set the comforter and pillows.

Bad move. It is one of Shindong hyungs horror movie collection.
