Jaejoong was able to hide how worried he was to Dara by distracting her with his kisses and lovemaking. Now that she was quietly sleeping in his arms after another bout of lovemaking in the privacy of their bedchambers, he had remained awake, watching over her.

The Oracle's continued disturbance of her dreams gave him grave concern. Add to that was her inability to wake up when the Oracle was inside her dreams. He couldn't help but suspect that the Oracle was trying to control Dara or take-over her mind. Or maybe the Oracle was now connected to Dara's mind, like a parasite quietly lurking, watching, listening and gathering information she might use against him in the future.

The Oracle hated him, but she couldn't do anything to him before. She couldn't even enter his mind or his dreams. But she had now found a way to make him suffer, and that was through Dara who was once a part of her. He had long ago severed the physical connection between the two, but it seemed the Oracle could still connect to Dara through her dreams.

He had asked Cloud about this, but this was the first time that Cloud had known of this new power, if that could be called power of the Oracle. With three incarnations, the Oracle could enter a person's dream or send him a dream created by the Oracle. But since Donghae and the regents only allowed the Oracle one incarnation to prevent her from attaining too much power, it surprised Jaejoong that she was still capable of entering the dreams of people.

Her powers were supposed to be limited to looking into the future to help people chose a path for themselves.

If Dara once again became an incarnation of the Oracle, he could no longer sever that connection. The Sword of Truth had been destroyed, and that was the only thing that was capable of cutting off Dara from the Oracle without the Oracle's permission. Dara suffered a lot of pain when he took her away from the Oracle. The incarnation Memory lost her life after being separated from the Oracle.

If the Oracle once again took Dara, it's possible that separating her again from the Oracle could kill her this time. Or maybe, the Oracle would take-over Dara's mind and totally control her. And he would lose her again. He clenched his teeth. He had lost her for twenty years, he wouldn't allow that to happ
