Dara knocked quietly on the door.

"Come in," called out Jaejoong's voice.

She entered the bedchamber assigned to Jaejoong for the night in Seung-won's villa. She saw him sitting on a big chair wearing only his trousers. The healers had done their job to patch him up. Jaejoong's encounter with the tornado had given him several minor bruises and injuries. Those bruises were now healing properly.

Only the wound on the left side of his face had yet to heal, but it was now properly patched by a small, square bandage. When she finally approached him after the tornado disappeared, she found his face bleeding. But he didn't seem to mind his injuries. He was in fact grinning and pleased with himself.

She now saw that he had shaved off his beard. He still looked like the boy she had known before. Just much more mature and more experienced. His lean body had put on enough muscles, making his chest wider and his arms larger. But his stomach remained flat and his waist the same size as when he was eighteen. Some girls would readily say that with his square jaws, prominent cheekbones, dark eyes, and mouth that was quick to laugh and smile, that Kim Jaejoong was a handsome man. And speaking of those dark eyes, they were now looking at her intently! Waiting for her to speak! How long had she been standing here staring at his face and body?

Dara felt flustered!

"W-What really happened?" It was not what she really wanted to say, but those were the words that came out of when she saw him half undressed and without the beard.

"Donghae, my father and Seung-won tricked me into coming here. They made me believe Seung-won simply wanted to talk to me. But in truth, Seung-won was planning to give me his powers."

"You really now possessed Seung-won's power to control the wind?" That was a stupid question since she had already seen him control the tornado with her own eyes.

Jaejoong nodded and yawned.

"The painkillers those healers gave me is making me sleepy," he complained. He shook his head to ward of sleep and looked straight at her. "They knew I would not accept this power. The last time I gained magic, my head hurt and I could not properly distinguished which was real and which was the vision. Your magic was simple, Dara, Seung-won's was powerful and complicated!"
