CHAPTER FOURTY
Prove Them WrongNoo Ri felt her smile begin even before she was fully conscious. She opened her eyes and felt the world was the most amazing place ever. She had never felt in her entire life this excited to get to school in the morning. Noo Ri is evidently diligent and hardworking but never a morning person.
Si Hoo whistled his way to Noo Ri's neighborhood. He smiled to himself as he glanced at her doorstep. Almost no one was there at the streets as early as he was. He was smiling like an idiot as he waited for her to step out of her house.
"Hey beautiful," Si Hoo's voice called up, causing Noo Ri to nearly miss a step but he was quick to grab her arm before she even trips.
"SI HOO!" Noo Ri exclaimed not having seen him standing beside the doorway, "What in the world?"
"I'm sorry Noo Ri," he hurried in, lowering her voice in conspiring, "But I've decided to always pick you up in the morning."
"Sounds fine to me but it's better if you don't startle me first thing in the morning." Noo Ri smiled, "Thanks for the gesture anyway. That's very sweet of you."
Noo Ri was happy to see his driver waiting with his car down the street. "Good morning Miss Seo Noo Ri. You keep on becoming more beautiful everyday. Young Master Han Si Hoo is very lucky." A knowing smile passed between them as he opened the door and stood beside to let her and Si Hoo in. The trip from Noo Ri's place to school was a quick one and, before they know it, Si Hoo had sent the driver off and they made their way to school, holding hands.
