CHAPTER FOUR
Prove Them WrongJae Min decided to talk to the school principal during lunch. He fixes his uniform and knocks on his door.
“Come in” said a low voice. Principal Han was busy arranging his books when he was surprised to see that it was his stepson entering.”What can I do for you Jae Min-ah? Here have a seat.” He promptly arranged the chair neatly and offerss it to Jae Min.”Do you happen to read science fiction? I’ve here a new series by a famous American author. Aah this book in particular is about ….”
“I am not here to discuss books with you, Sir.” Jae Min stops him midway. “Your nephew, am I correct?”
Principal Han unlooses his tie slightly and nods.
“How can you possibly allow that? It’s enough that we have a vampire heading this school.” protesting in a high voice.
“Jae Min-ah, we can’t have this discussion if you speak to me like that. Just calm down and I will explain.”
Jae Min lets out a heavy sigh.
“It’s true that he is my nephew and that he’s like me. His parents trust me so much that they decided that he’ll be under my care. He had lived alone for the past few years, the reason I cannot disclose to you as it is very private. He’s here because I can keep a close look on him as I try to change him. Please leave this to me and treat him like a brother.”
“I don't care what he's been through! This is a school full of humans! You said he lived alone that means he cannot probably control the urge to kill”
“You know how we live our life, Jae Min-ah. We swore not to consume human blood no matter the circumstance. He does have a dark background but he’s here to be a better person.”
