Chapter 20

“Doesn’t your company stop you from saying such things? You over did it with JB.”

YooJin was finally back from Japan, along the other Super Idol members. His first ‘mission’ was to meet and greet his best friend – Rian. Uibong had showed the interview that Rian and JB made and he kind of felt sorry for him. He didn’t think people will get any suspicion from the interview, but Rian’s coldness was obvious for the other members.

“My company supports me the fullest. I don’t know much, I would want to stay with them.”

That was a topic that bothered Rian a lot.

Especially after JB kind of threatening her, she felt uneasy. Will she go downhill if she returns to the company that ‘politely’ kicked her out to avoid scandals? Or can she stay at ANA and stop being a member of Super Idol?

“The CEO is the only reason you doubt yourself, right? You're afraid he may ruin you, because  ...” YooJin understood Rian better than anyone did. He could guess what is on her mind and speak with her. His friendship was healing her.

“Because he is always taking JB’s side. I know you are trying to help me, but you should be aware I don’t even know what is in my mind.” Rian sighed. “Let's go out to a café nearby. I will treat you.” She smiled lightly at him.

YooJin nodded his head. Rian was having a harder time than he thought. “Oh, let's call your new friends. Shi Woo-ssi and JaeJin? Did I get their names right?” he asked as they walked thought the company. “It will be awkward if we get our pictures taken like a couple, especially after that interview.”

Rian rolled her eyes. “You couldn’t care less if our pictures get taken. Are you awkward with me, Jin YooJin?” she stopped walking and crossed her arms staring at him. After all, Rian wanted to goof around as well.

YooJin patted her head. “If I'm awkward with you what's left to the other members?” he laughed.

“I doubt you would wash up with Uibong if you were awkward with him, so your words don’t make sense at all. I thought you got smarter.” Rian replied, smiling cheekily.

“I can wash up with you and that will prove you I'm not awkward with you? Are you a ert?” both Rian and YooJin played with each other’s words and answered in the most weird and humiliating way possible. They could never be awkward.

“Let's go to the café, YooJin. It's right in front of the company. No one will see you and if they do big deal.” She smiled brightly at him and grabbed him by the hand.

“Now that they are back, will they one by one come to meet her?” Se Na muttered quietly while staring through the window. She caught a glimpse of Rian dragging YooJin out of the company and laughed at the sight. In her eyes, Rian continued being arrogant and shameless.

“Why are you always butting in with other people’s businesses? Shouldn’t you be composing?” Roy smirked right after Se Na turned around with a scared expression. Why did she even bother to play the role of a good girl in the first place? She always got caught in the end.

Se Na rolled her eyes. “Still a trainee, yet you dare to talk to me that way? You’re daring. Just because you performed with her once, it doesn’t mean the CEO is debuting you.”  

Roy smirked. “I was always this confident, even before you entered this company. Honestly, I just warned you. You never know who can hear your hateful words. It's such a pity actually.”

“What do you earn for protecting her? She won’t even know I said that about her.”

Roy laughed. “She won’t even care about what you said probably, but that’s not important. She earned me as a person and I respect her character. At least she doesn’t pretend like you … or she is just a really great actress.”

“I never thought I will come to see you again Cindy-ssi.” Rian smiled and offered her hand for a handshake.

Cindy nodded her head and shook her hand. “Recording an OST along you, are we going to promote it on music shows? It would be a waste not to promote it.” She spoke sweetly and both of them sat down.

“It's an anticipated drama. I wonder how the track will turn out to be.” Rian crosse
