Chapter 11

"Working with you has been a honour, Rian sunbaenim." Jae smiled and bowed to her.

Rian just chuckled at him. "I thought we dropped the honorifics." she spoke. "It was very fun for me as well, Jae. The songs turned out just perfect. We made a good team." 

It seemed like Jae was embarrassed of Rian's words, he kept quiet. Or he had other things that bothered him. Rian looked at him, she wanted to ask him what was on his mind, but then again she didn't want to step over the line that was between them.

After more silence, she couldn't hold herself. "What's bothering you? The three days we spent working together, I never once saw you frowning." And she couldn't be more honest. If someone catches her eyes, she would look at him/her and analyse them someway.

"I guess the thoughts of standing on stage started bothering me." Jae chuckled to lighten his words, but Rian now was able to see through that chuckle.

"It's because of me, isn't it?" Rian chuckled as well. It was time to put the Princess act. At least that way she can make Jae erase those thoughts for a moment at least. "You don't need to worry, I don't eat people. Especially not when I'm on stage." She spoke loudly, smiling at him.

That sudden change of the attitude sure surprised Jae. With a confused expression her looked at Rian? He was about to ask what's wrong with her, but then he got her idea. He smiled. "Thank you. Even if it took me a moment to realise what's going on."

Feeling proud, Rian didn't let go of her confidence. "You're not stupid, Jae. Don't think so lowly of yourself. There are many people who aren't capable of half the things you do, but they are so much more confident. And if you got to know what kind of a person I am, you would know I never speak nonsense." She showed thumbs up at him and returned a sweet smile.

"Well, now I am 100% sure you will become one of the top actresses one day, since you're already a top idol. I barely know you, but I feel like a proud oppa." He ruffled her hair.

" I call my manager oppa... it feels weird." Rian muttered, making Jae laugh out loud. "You're just Jae, it makes me cringe even the thought of calling you oppa." She spoke.

"Hey! Even though, I'm an oppa. I'm two years older than you." Jae said as a matter of fact.

"Well, I'm your sunbae. I win." She struck out her tongue and then turned around to leave the practice room. "You're feeling better now. I have to get the stage outfits ready so, bye for now."

"What's with your frown Yoon Se Na?" 

Se Na turned around and saw Shi Woo already in front of her. "You scared me. Is that a habit of yours?" She asked him, avoiding his question.
