Seventeen
My SM Journey"Noona-" Sehun began saying as we sat across each other 'Blind-experiential dining' restaurant. It was an interesting concept and we have it in Singapore too. Basically, the restaurant-goer will dine in the dark and understand the importance of sight and gain respect for the blind at the same time. So, to conclude, I am unable to see my food or Sehun who was sitted at the same table as me.
It has been almost a month since I left Singapore to pursue my dreams here in Korea. My trainee life has been pretty boring. I go through the same routine and schedule every single day. The only exciting part was when I went out on a few secret dates with Sehun. But I still felt that it would have been a lot better if he wasn't a celebrity so that we can date openly in the public and also in the day. All the hidings from the paparazzi tired me out. But I guess it is a trade off and a sacrifice for our dreams. When you achieve something, you will always need to give up on another thing, right?
"-I have a question." He continued.
"Yea?" I asked as I devoured every last piece of the chicken steak.
"Will-will you be my girlfriend?" He reached out and grabbed my hand that was holding the knife. I could have stabbed his hand if it was slightly lower.
I stopped chewing midway and dropped my knife. It fell onto the table making a loud sound.
"Noona, are you-you okay?"
"Yea. I am fine. And yes, I will be your girlfriend." I said with my heart pumping loudly in my chest. Omg, omg, omg. Was all I can think about.
"Yehet!" He said, "noona, I am too shy to ask you directly so I planned this dinner so that you won't have to see my bright red face and awkward smile." He pulled my hand and rested it against his face. "Can you feel the heat on my cheek? I am really happy now!"
I grinned happily. Omg. I am Sehun's girlfriend? I am Oh Sehun's girlfriend! EXO's girlfriend! I swear I could just melt and faint at that instant.
"So am I, Sehun-ah."
We hurriedly finished up with our remaining dinner and rushed into his car. We sat silently in the car with our fingers intertwined with one another. Nobody said a word but we were both grinning from ear to ear. Happiness couldn't even describe the emotion I was feeling just then.
"Noona, I know a place near the Han River that has a beautiful scenary overlooking Seoul. Shall we go there now?"
"Sounds good to me!" I grinned as he started the car engine and drove out of the garang at the restaurant.
"Are you going to keep calling me 'noona'? I don't like that now since I am your girlfriend. I don't want to feel older than you. You should treat me as your equal."
"Of course, my darling." He whispered shyly.
If another outsider was watching us, he will definitely be cringing so hard from head to toe.
"What should I call you then? What do you like to be called? Oppa?" I joked.
"Oppa sounds good to me. I like girls with loads of aegyo." Hehehehehehe. The temperature in the car suddenly felt so hot that I could feel myself burning up as I desperately reduced the themostat in the car.
"It's hot in here, isn't it?"
"Are we reaching soon?"
"Yea, almost there. Just above this hill."
"Where are we now?"
"Somewhere in the west of Seoul. I used to come here a lot with my mother when I needed some quiet time with her. You are the second woman I have brought here."
"Really? Not even Ji-" I tried to stop myself, but it was too late.
He suddenly looked grim, "yes, not even Jieun."
"Darling, let's not talk about my past relationship, okay?"
