Yuri was sitting up in bed, finally awake after his ordeal at home. His eyes were still adjusting to the light as he looked around the room, finding his twins all snuggled on an extra bed next to his. Taeyeon was sitting in the chair beside his bed, Tiffany was on the other side with a bible in hand.

He was so thankful for friends like these. 

“Fany...”

Yuri patted Tiffany's hand lightly, knowing her reaction would be much smaller than Taeyeon's which would come in handy at times like this. “Hmm... Yul? You're awake. How are you feeling?” Tiffany leaped from her seat, holding Yuri's hand. 

The tanned guy made a cute peace sign and smiled, letting Tiffany know he was more than okay. It was a pleasure to take care of Yuri since Jessica never hesitated to help her out when her hands were full. She couldn't help but anticipate the moment when Jessica reached the hospital. 

“I'm hungry...” Yuri pouted to himself, rubbing his abs. 

Tiffany lifted her finger and poked Yuri’s forehead, “I'm not surprised. Idiot, who asked you to self-medicate when you had a fever? You know you're hopeless at memorising certain things, ESPECIALLY medicine.”

“Aye... I'm sorry. Buy me food.” Yuri pouted at Tiffany this time, holding her hand from poking his forehead again. 

Tiffany rolled her eyes, walking to the other side to wake her husband. Yuri watched as Taeyeon murmured and moved in his sleep, hugging Tiffany closer instead of waking up. He was amazed at Taeyeon's love for him and how well he made sure Yuri was taken care of. 

“Forget it, he's not going to wake up. I'll buy you something.” Tiffany said and took her purse from her bag. 

“Thanks, Fany.” Yuri said. 

Tiffany smiled at him, she knew how sincere Yuri was. She didn't mind taking care of Yuri at all, he was as good as her younger brother anyway. “No problem, Kwon.”

 She was well on her way out of the room when the door flew open, revealing a panting blonde girl. “Jessie?” Tiffany's eyes widened. “Fany, h... how's he?” Jessica was ready to break down already, her tears starting to roll down her cheeks. 

“How did you know what room we were in?”

Jessica wiped her tears a little, “I called Sunny earlier. How is he, Fany? What did the doctors say?”

A light bulb appeared over Tiffany's head as a small smirk appeared on her face, this was her chance to have a little fun with her best friend. Jessica was narrowing her eyes, it meant that she was losing her patience with her. Tiffany cleared . 

“He... He's in a coma.”

Jessica felt her whole world came crashing down on her, everything was over. Her husband was in a coma. He was in a freaking coma. She didn't know how she was going to continue with life when Yuri was no longer around to or make sure she's okay. 

Why did she fight with Yuri? 

Tiffany's existence was soon forgotten as Jessica took baby steps into the room, she quickly escaped and chuckled to herself when she was in the safety of the elevator. Her best friend and Yuri could be such idiots sometimes, to the extent where they can't understand each other's actions, even though there was a simple reason. 

Love was the reason.

The ice princess was preparing her heart for the most heart-breaking sight she was about to witness, eyes rapidly closing and opening, hoping everything was nothing but a horrible nightmare. Her tears started flowing when she saw Yoong and Soojung on the sofa. 

“Sica?”

Jessica looked up. 

What. The. Hell. 

“Y-Yul? No.... I'm dreaming... Wake up, Sooyeon.” Jessica slapped her cheeks, shaking her head vigorously. 

Yuri stared at his wife weirdly, wondering if she was sick. Jessica looked up once more and saw Yuri eating his apple, staring at her as if she was having some sort of fit. She walked towards the bed slowly, afraid to blink in case Yuri would be lying on the bed after she did.

Jessica placed her hands on Yuri's cheeks, them lovingly, “Are you.... really awake? Yuri...”

Her tears started to flow again, no one knew how much she missed Yuri. She missed him to death. She missed his strong arms around her, telling her everything would be okay. She missed the way he gave her feather kisses to wake her up. She missed the way he would hobble around just so he could practise walking without crutches. 

“Sica, I'm okay.... What's wrong?” Yuri asked, holding Jessica's hands that were on his cheeks. “How do you feel? Are you hungry? Are you still unwell? Shall I ca---” Jessica looked down at Yuri's hand that was covering , her eyes moving up to his. 

Yuri moved close to Jessica and wrapped his arms around Jessica's waist, leaning his head against her stomach. He had missed hugging her so much but this would do for now.

“I'm fine, as long as you stay with me...”

Jessica's fingers ran through Yuri's brown locks, giving off a warm sensation. She looked down at her husband and found him with his eyes closed. How long has it been since they shared a hug? Neither of them could remember and as much as Jessica wanted to relish the moment, she couldn't. 

“Wait, wait.” Jessica pushed Yuri slightly but he refused to budge, “Whaaaattttttt?” She smiled but broke the hug and sat down on the bed in front of him. 

“I thought you were in a coma?” 

Yuri's eyebrows rose, “What? No, I only slept for about a day and a bit.”
