“Sica, please be careful…” Tiffany pleaded, hugging her best friend from behind. 

Tiffany knew very well that the Kwon couple were both selfless. They were willing to do anything to keep each other safe without thinking of anything or anyone. 

Jessica turned around and kissed Tiffany's forehead, picking up her jacket, “I will, Fany. Don't worry about me, babe. Take care of my kids until I come back.”

Jessica took out her necklace and kissed it gently, feeling as if it was her source of strength at the moment. Yuri had given it to her on her birthday the past year. Tiffany sniffled and followed Jessica down the stairs, her tears couldn't stop flowing. 

Spotting Tiffany and Jessica at the stairs, Yoona leaped to her feet and ran to Jessica's side. She couldn't lose her sister-in-law too. “Unnie, you're going to come back... Promise me...” Yoona begged, hugging Jessica tightly. 

Soojung and Yoong had fallen asleep after Sunny brought them to their room, making sure that they didn't know anything that was going on currently. 

“I will bring your brother back with me.” Jessica kissed Yoona's cheek and walked towards her cousin who was standing at the balcony alone. Sunny closed her eyes after she felt a pair of arms around her waist. “You better come back, Sooyeon. Or else, I'm going to go there and drag you back if I have to.” Sunny warned and Jessica let out a smile. 

Jessica nodded and walked towards Taeyeon who was standing at the door with a downcast look. He didn't want to face the cruel truth that no one else but Jessica could save his best friend. “Please come back, Sica. Bring my kkab back too.” Taeyeon hugged Jessica back after the blonde had thrown herself into his embrace. 

With everyone's prayers and wishes, she was going to come back safely with Yuri.

“N-Nichkhun?” Jessica stuttered, seeing a familiar blonde man walking towards her. 

She was asked to head to the same place that Yuri had gone before and here she was, standing in front of one of Yuri's friends in high school. 

“Hey, Jessica.” Nichkhun couldn't even let out a smile anymore.

He should have had more backbone to reject Victoria from the start. He shouldn't have fallen for a person like Victoria. He shouldn't have got Yuri's family into this mess. 

“Come with me...” Nichkhun whispered and lead Jessica to the car.

“Seobang!” Jessica cried out. Yuri was no longer tied up in the chair anymore like in the picture. He was dangling from the ceiling with metal chains holding him suspended in mid-air. “Yuri...” Jessica brought her hands to , trying to stop her tears from rolling down. 

Victoria came out laughing from the darkness, the handgun still held firmly in her hand. Nichkhun held Jessica's wrist, he couldn't let Jessica get hurt. 

Flashback. 

“Nichkhun. If you s-still consider y-yourself a f-f-friend... Keep m-my wife saf---”Yuri whispered, grabbing Nichkhun's hair before he passed out. 

Flashback end. 

“Let him down!” Jessica screamed. 

“Fine.” Victoria raised her hand and Yuri's body came crashing onto the floor. 

Jessica's fears were penetrating her mind. How could anyone survive such a beating and inhumane treatment? Was Yuri dead before she even got here? 

“U-Ugh...”

The blonde had never felt more overjoyed to hear a groan, even if it was from pain. It only meant that Yuri was still alive and he was hanging on. It wasn't long before Yuri was taken to somewhere else, apparently to clean him of his blood and his wounds. Victoria wasn't going to let him die just yet. 

She was going to have her revenge. 

It seemed like forever that Yuri had been gone. Jessica was made to sit down on a chair and in front of her was a table with 2 handguns laid out on it. 

“Sica...”

That was Yuri's voice! 

Jessica whipped her head around and she saw the love of her life, limping towards her. She wanted to get up and run towards him but Yuri shook his head. “Oh my God, Seobang....” Jessica stood up and wrapped her arms around him, her hands running through Yuri's hair. 

Yuri buried his face into Jessica's neck, too weak to even stand upright. He needed Jessica's comfort and love at this moment, he had no more strength until he saw his wife. “Sicababy...” Yuri whispered, pressing a small kiss on her shoulder. 

“ENOUGH!”

Victoria had enough of seeing all these lovey-dovey actions in front of her. It was bad enough that Yuri had rejected her straight to her face and now, she had to watch Yuri run to his wife. “Make him sit opposite her.” Victoria commanded and the two men immediately obeyed. 

Jessica and Yuri were now sitting opposite each other, both staring into each other's eyes. Yuri's eyes showed no fear but pure love and determination. Jessica's eyes were showing fear and Yuri's heart couldn't take it. 

“Vic, what else do you want?” Nichkhun asked in exasperation. He couldn't understand how the two men could do everything that Victoria wanted without feeling a wee bit sense of guilt and remorse. “Let's play a little Russian Roulette, shall we?” Victoria chuckled. 

Russian Roulette. 

The deadliest game to encounter in situations like this. Four people and more often than not, only one person would manage to come out alive. Yuri shut his eyes. He had expected Victoria to play a game like this. It was the most common game in situations like this and he knew that very well. Playing it in the army a couple of times, he was the one who made the wrong choice.
