The Wedding; Part 2 | The Last Chapter

Alec placed three bullets on the table. He slowly pulled back one of them from the other two and made them face each other. He then turned his head to look at the black gun right beside the bullets.

''Ottokae! I'm so late!'' Sooyun put the sandwich in and put her shoes on clumsily while shutting the door behind her. She slung her bag over her shoulder and hurriedly left.

''Omo!'' She abruptly stopped when a young girl appeared on her way out of nowhere.
''You scared me'' She placed a hand on her heart and smiled at her.

''Do you like it?'' She suddenly asked, touching her white dress. Sooyun looked at her for a second and then smiled.

''Yes, it's very beautiful''

''I'm going to wear it on your wedding'' The girl said happily.

''On my wedding?'' Sooyun asked. She had never seen this girl before. The girl looked up at her and nodded.

''What's your mother's name?'' Sooyun gently touched her cheek. She looked so innocent with her warm chocolate eyes but then suddenly, she walked away without answering her.

''Ara is going to kill me!'' Sooyun suddenly panicked and was going to leave but then glanced back to see the girl again, but strangely she wasn't there anymore.

''Where...?'' Sooyun looked around, but she was nowhere to be seen. ''Whatever'' She shrugged and then ran to the cafee like her was on fire.

 

Cafee - 2 hours later

''Aisht chongmal...'' Sooyun murmured while reading and writing a tons of papers. She always hated this, it was so boring and tiresome to do it, but what can she do? She had to do it, it was her punishment for coming too late. ''Why am I working here again?''

''Are you complaining Mrs.Yong Sooyun?'' Ara suddenly appeared right behind her.

''Oh no, of course not. I was just thinking how I love doing this job'' Sooyun flattered her eyes and smiled. ''And it's Song Sooyun by the way, not Yong...well not yet''

''Yeah yeah, whatever. You can take a break for now, your soon to be mother in law is coming'' Ara nodded towards the entrance.

''Huh?'' Sooyun turned her head and saw Mrs.Yong entering the cafee.

''Listen, I don't want any MMA show here in my cafee all right? Please, act like two normal adults''

''Puh-lease! She's the one who's acting like a witch!'' Sooyun rolled her eyes and walked over to Mrs.Yong.

''Hi, can we talk a little?'' Mrs.Yong sounded unexpectedly kind.

''Uhm, sure. Why don't we sit down?''

When both of them sat down and looked at each other quietly for a long time, Mrs.Yong smiled.

''You're probably thinking what this old hag wants from you again right?'' She gave a small smile.

''If I say that I didn't think of that, I would be lying'' Sooyun said, not smiling.

''Well you're right'' Mrs.Yong nodded. ''I have always been prejudiced towards you. I have never thought that you and Junhyung was suitable for each other...until now'' She pulled a red little box from her glitter purse and opened it infront of her. There was a ring in it. A breath taking one.

''For the first time in my life, I am accepting that I thought wrong. I made a mistake Sooyun. You're a strong woman who tries to achieve her goals in life. You and Junhyung are meant to each other''

Sooyun couldn't hide her smile as she listened to her.

''You do know how much this ring means for me, right?''

Sooyun touched the sparkling ring. It was so beautiful...

''I can now give this ring to its real owner without any regrets, please take care of it well''

''Thank you'' Sooyun smiled.

''Since you accepted the ring, you have to learn it's story too, because when you have learnt it, you will understand me better and why I acted like that all this time''

''Dongwoon-shi! Can you make us two coffee?'' Sooyun asked the handsome waiter while he passed by.

''Right away Mrs.Sooyun!'' He nodded and quickly ran away. Sooyun turned back to Mrs.Yong and smiled warmly. ''So, should we start?''

 

Alec put the letter in the envelope when he finished writing.

''Joowon!.....Joowon!!'' He called and the bitter envelope.

''Yes chef?''

''Post this for me''

''Me?''

''Yes!''

''Uhm, n-neh'' He ran away with it, wondering what it was written in it and to who it was.

 

I don't think I'll ever forget the day they gave Yongjun to my arms and this day. My family is sending me off with joy and my prince charming is waiting for me. What more coould I ask for?

Sooyun walked down the aisle with her long white dress, holding securely to her father's arm. The wedding was holding place in Junhyung's huge mansion.

A wide smile formed her lips as she met Junhyung's mesmerized eyes. There he was, looking at her and burning her soul with his gaze. How could she be so lucky to have him? No, it wasn't luck, it was destiny. It was him all along.

''I remember this scene from somwhere'' Kikwang whispered to Junhyung. Junhyung couldn't help but to smile. He remembered their first wedding, this time, she looked even more beautiful if possible. Not taking his eyes off from her, he walked towards her.

''I believe you're mine now?'' He whispered softly to her ear and offered his arm.

''I was always yours'' She smiled and walked with him up to the altar.

As people say, every girls dreams is to get married and it's true. I have never been this happy in my life. Your other half stands infront of you and promises to love you forever, holding your hand like he will never let go of you, swears to be with you until he dies...it's just an indescribable feeling, and I am sure that everyone will experience this beautiful moment too. I am happpy that I met him, and I am happy to have him for the rest of my life. I love him...

Alec stared at the three bullets infront of him. But this time, the bullets had names written on. The two bullets that stood together was Alec and Sooyun and the other bullet that was facing them from a distance was Junhyung. He took his and Sooyun's bullet and inserted them into the magazine. He then put Junhyung's, making it stand on top. Harshly, he inserted the magazine back into the gun.

''Tonight...'' He muttered, and closed his eyes with his trembling hands holding the black gun tightly.

''We are here today in the presence of family and friends to share with bride and groom the most important moment in their lives. Without the love between-''

''STOP!'' Ara suddenly shouted and cut the wedding officiant. Everyone turned their heads to her. Shocked, Sooyun and Junhyung watched her as she made her way to them.

''What's going on?'' Mr.Yong looked at Junhyung angrily.

''Don't you ever feel shame Junhyung?'' Ara asked as she stood infront of him.

''Ara, can you please leave immediately?'' He tried to say it calmly but it didn't come out the way he wanted.

''What's going on Ara?'' Sooyun carefully asked as she glanced at Junhyung.

''You can't marry each other Sooyun''

Mrs.Song and Mrs.Yong held their breaths as they listened.

''Ara shut up!!!'' Junhyung growled.

''Don't you dare trying to stop me Junhyung'' She gave him a hard look and then turned to the guests. ''This wedding is not going to happen because Junhyung and I have a relationship.''

''....j-junhyung?'' Sooyun whispered and looked at him. Junhyung sighed and put his hand on his face.

''What the hell is going on!??'' Mr.Yong looked at them.

''Junhyung....look at me'' Sooyun's voice shoke and could be barely heard. ''....look at me and tell me that this isn't true...''

Ara crossed her arms and lifted her chin up. ''I've waited so many years, Sooyun.''

Sooyun looked at her with teary eyes. How is this possible? Isn't the girl infront of her, her best friend of so many years? Her bestfriend that now is telling that Junhyung, Sooyun's Junhyung belongs to her.

''I endured. I pretended to my enemy like she was my friend. I gave her a job, I've been patient...waited for the day Junhyung could be mine again and I finally succeeded.''

''CHO ARA!!'' Junhyung shouted loudly making his veins popping out from his neck.

''Why?'' Ara raised a brow and smirked. ''Am I lying? Come'on then, tell them that i'm lying Junhyung. Weren't you with me just yesterday night? You told me how much you loved me, how much you longed for me. Come'on deny it!''

Tears started to pour down Sooyun's face as she looked at Junhyung. ''Is it true?''

Junhyung didn't meet her eyes.

''DAMMIT! I ASKED YOU IF IT'S TRUE!!??'' Her voice echoed in the huge livingroom. For a moment, it felt like no one was breathing. It was dead silent.

''I apologize to all of you....most importantly from you'' He turned to her and finally looked her in the eyes. ''...because........it is a joke.'' He opened his arms suddenly, smiling widely.

''Bwoohh!?''

''Ooohhhhh!''

''Eeeehh?''

The guests made noises, laughed and smiled while others just rolled their eyes. Kikwang laughed, clapping his hands while Rina made a face to Junhyung, not liking the cruel joke that was made.

Junhyung smiled and took Sooyun's hands. ''Mianhae, I scared you for a joke'' He softly touched the top of her hand. ''You became really sad right?'' He asked, proud of his work.

Mrs.Yong slapped her head while Mr.Yong furiously shoke his head, muttering something about killing Junhyung.

''Bro! I love you!! That was brilliant!!'' Kikwang shouted and laughed. Rina elbowed him hard and gave him a hard look. ''Shut up Kikwang!''

''Congratulations Ara'' Junhyung patted her back. ''You just proved yourself to be an amazing actress''

''I'm so so sorry Sooyun-ah, this heartless man beside me forced me to do this'' She pointed at Junhyung's shest hard.

''Wait what?'' Junhyung furrowed his brows at her.

''Oh please, shut up'' Ara ignored him and hugged Sooyun instead. ''Yah, you forgive me right? Right? My besti frendueeeee'' She held her tightly and rocked them side to side.

''You traitor'' Sooyun slapped her arm jokingly and smiled.

''Yeah, arayo arayo!''

''Where's Yongjun?'' Sooyun asked.

''Well last time I saw him, he made my father into a horse and was riding with him around the house'' They started to laugh and the atmosphere became normal again.

''Hey dude, have any lighter?'' Alec put a cig between his lips and asked the two security guards that was watching the gate to the Yong mansion.

''No'' The one with the broadest shoulders replied with his cold voice. Alec's sharp eyes quickly wandered around the garden and spotted 3 bakeryworker taking out a wedding cake from the car in to the mansion. His lips slowly pulled up into a dark smirk.

''Alright, thanks'' He nodded to the guards and then walked away. One of the guards raised his brow and looked at his friend, sensing a weird vibe from him. As soon as Alec turned around the corner, he jumped up from the wall, landing inside the Yong's territory. Smoothly, he hid behind a red car and carefully watched the bakery workers walk in and out of the mansion. Alec swiftly took out his jacket and took out a tie from his pocket.

DING DONG!

''Joowon? What are you doing here?'' Minjae asked when she saw him, one of Alec's employee.

''Annyeonghaseyo Minjae noona, Alec hyung wanted me to give you this letter. No, wait actually he wanted me to post this but when I saw your name and adress on it, I thought it would be better to bring it to you''

''Oh okay, thanks'' She took the white letter form him and shut the door. With furrowed eyebrows, she opened it and started to read the careless text.

''Oh my god....'' She took a sharp breath and clapsed her hand over .

The party was going smoothly, everyone was dancing and having fun. Even my little nephew Mason seemed like hitting on an adorable girl. How cute is that? Ahhh love...

''Congratulations bro, you got yourself a hot chick!'' Doojoon winked, one of Junhyung's close friends that was invited to the wedding.

''Yah, back away and wipe off that drool!'' Junhyung said with a fake stern voice. Of course he knew that Doojoon was just joking. Afterall he was one of his closest friends and a good hyung.

When I saw my father talking and drinking happily with Junhyung and Mr.Yong I just thought of one thing....the day Yongjun will call Junhyung father. What else would I want from life?

''Mrs.Yong let's go up and dance!!'' Sooyun got up from her chair and dragged her up.

''Wait, I don't know how to dance!'' Mrs.Yong laughed but let Sooyun take her to the dance floor anyway.

''OMO OMO!!'' Kikwang gasped when he saw Mrs.Yong dance. ''Yah, Junhyung! Looka at your omma shaking loss!!''

''What are you talking ab- OMMA!???'' Junhyung's jaw dropped on the floor as he saw his mother dancing with Sooyun and his mother in law. Kikwang started to whistle and Junhyung couldn't help but to laugh at the shocking scene. He started to clap along with the guest while watching them dancing.

''Damn bro! Your mother is wild! Look at them moves man!'' Kikwang whistled much louder this time.

''Yah yah, watch your mouth!''' Rina pushed him hard.

''Oh come on babe, you can't be jealous of your own mother!''

''Hey, what are you doing standing there! Come'on join us!'' Sooyun laughed and dragged all of them in to the center. Laughing, everyone started to dance and enjoy the beautiful night. After some time, a slow music started playing making all the lovers go up and rock their bodies closely together.

Junhyung brushed his lips on Sooyun's neck up and then slowly down while he danced with her in his arms. Sooyun giggled when she felt his hot breath on her skin, tickling her.

''Junhyung, people stare'' She wandered her eyes around in embarrasment but still couldn't stop smiling. As if he didn't hear her, he still continued with the brushing. He then planted a gentle kiss on her neck and didn't move away his lips for a while.

He brushed his lips from her neck up to her ear and then bit lightly on her earlobe. ''You know what's waiting for you after this right? I reserved the most beautiful suit for tonight'' He whispered sensually.

Sooyun looked at him with bright red face and saw the desire in his eyes. She felt her heart beat faster, but her cheeks didn't feel so hot anymore because she realized that, she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

''You know that I love you right?'' Was the only thing she could say. He looked at her surprised for a second but then he gave her his most charming smile.

''Well, who doesn't?''

''Yah!'' She slapped his arm lightly. ''...jerk'' She muttered but couldn't help to smile. ''Oh, look! She told me that she would come and there she is!'' Sooyun's smile grew even wider when she saw the girl with white dress from yesterday.

''Who came babe?'' Junhyung asked as he looked around.

''That little girl there. She's someone's daughter from our area. Aww look how cute she looks Junhyung''

Junhyung's eyebrows furrowed as he couldn't see the girl Sooyun was looking at. ''Why can't I see her? Where is she?''

''Right there, don't you see?'' She smiled and then looked at him.''I hope our second child will be as cute as her''

''Uhm uhm!'' Kikwang cleared his throat and interrupted them. ''May I dance with the bride sir?''

Sooyun laughed and started to dance with Kikwang, while Rina took the chance to dance with her brother.

''So, you're getting married finally eh?'' Rina smiled but Junhyung was too busy to look around for the little girl that Sooyun was talking about.

''Junhyung-ah?''

''Huh?'' He looked back at her.

''What's wrong?'' Rina raised a brow. ''You don't seem to be here...''

''N-nothing....'' He said but then took a quick glance again around the livingroom. ''Rina, do you see any girl here with white dress? A kid'' He suddenly asked.

She looked around and couldn't see any kids around. ''No...wae?''

''Well, Sooyun said that-....whatever, just forget it'' He shook his head and started to dance with her instead, althought somehow it bothered him, not knowing why.

''Alright, the cake is ready to go!'' The chef shouted when he placed the last flower on the 9 tier wedding cake. Alec quickly took the apron off and grabbed on the table with wheels to push it in to the livingroom.

And we finally made it. We said that we were going to marry without wasting any time. This time, we didn't let our pride step on our way. We decided to marry right away, because we had tired everyone and most of all us. Although our families didn't show it, we could see that they were relieved. They were finally happy, and most of all we, me and Junhyung. Who can claim that we don't deserve this happiness? The only thing I knew is that our lives would be happier from now on, but the thing that I didn't knew was that there was something we had to overcome, the last but the biggest obstancle in our lives.

This time wasn't a game...

and then something that no one could ever imagine happened...

Alec threw away the cake when he came in to he livingroom and swiftly pulled out his gun from his inner pocket, pointing it straight towards Junhyung. Everyone in the hall started to panic and escape from the terrifying scene. Junhyung looked at Sooyun and then back at Alec in shock.

*No...* Sooyun looked at Alec in horror. His eyes had no mercy, they were cold and dark.

And then.....

PAAANNGG!!!

we heard an earsplitting noise...

A tear slowly fell down from Sooyun's eye. Alec stared into her eyes. Everything became dead silent and then suddenly, Alec fell on the floor.

Minjae shot Alec...

Alec slowly turned his head to look at Minjae. Her small fragile hands that held the gun trembled while tears streamed down her face.

What is love exactly? Sometimes, it is something that transforms us into something else that we are not. Sometimes, it is something that makes us to do the worst things to the ones that we love the most. But whatever that happens, we never give up on love. We die for the sake of it.

The ambulance quickly arrived and drove Alec to the hospital. The polices arrived in no time as well, taking Minjae with them.

''Everything is going to be alright babe, everything is going to be alright'' Junhyung hugged Sooyun tightly as she looked at the cars leaving.

When I was marrying Junhyung for the second time, all this happened. Despite all the things that happened, maybe we were finally going to get rid of Alec, forever.

We knew that we were deserving nice and a peaceful life now.

Sooyun was holding Junhyung's arm while he was driving to the airport. They were going 3 weeks to Hawaii for an amazing honeymoon.

''Still excited for a vacation after all this ?'' Junhyung half smiled at her. Sooyun leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

''Hey, i'm driving here''

She gave him a heartwarming smile. ''I'm not going to let things get on our way anymore Junhyung. I'm happy with you right now and that's all that matters''

Junhyung's half smile grew into a big grin. After all those years, his heart could still beat faster when she smiled at him like that. It just drove him crazy like always and all he could do was shook his head at his silliness. Sooyun rested her head on his shoudler as he drove. She doesn't want tot hink about Alec and Minjae right now, all she wants to do is to think about the 3 long weeks that they are going to spend together. When she was about to close her eyes and rest for a bit she saw something on the road...someone.

''Junhyung!'' She suddenly pulled her head up in panic. ''Junhyung!''

''What's wrong?'' He quickly looked at her but she was looking out of the window.

''Junhyung! Stop the car! Stop the car!!''

In the middle of the road where cars passed by, Junhyung stopped the car and Sooyun quickly got out, holding her dress with one hand and running across the road.

''Sooyun!! What are you doing!? Come back here!!'' Junhyung flung out of the car, running after her.

''Can't you see her!? She's on the road!'' Sooyun ran towards the white dressed girl from the wedding and when she was about to reach to her, a truck suddenly tooted loudly. In a split second, she found herself laying on the ground with Junhyung on top of her.

''WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING SOOYUN!! ARE YOU ING OUT OF YOUR MIND!! DAMMITT!!'' Junhyung aggressively ran his hand trough his hair as he breathed heavily.

''But the girl-''

''There's no girl here Sooyun!'' Junhyung grabbed her by the shoulders hard and looked straight into her eyes.

All the stories ends when lovers reunites...

''What are you doing Sooyun? What's happening to you....'' He whispered and somehow shivered from his own voice, scared of his own question.

but our story...was just beginning.
