Junhyung was in the yard and sat on a chair beside the pool. He couldn't forget how the legend playboy Jinho had changed. He always admired the attention he got from the girls and the others around him. He was like the perfect guy and Junhyung had to admit that he was very envious of him and couldn't hide his jealousy when Jiho was the main topic between the girls. Sure Junhyung was his friend, but that fact didn't made him to stop see him as his rival.

But how....? How the heck did Jinho ended up like that? Can love really change a guy like that? Even if this person was a womanizer, a heartbreaker?

But Jinho changed.....

Now, Jiho was a weak and powerless man in Junhyung's eyes. It was like everything turned up and down. Junhyung got all the attention, became the main topic and stole Jiho's spot. But somehow, he couldn't help but to pity him now.

''Junhyung?''

Surprised, he jumped out from his chair and hit the hot coffe that rested on the armrest. The glass shattered into pieces and the hot coffe spreaded on the cold ground.

''Oh mianhae, did I scare you?'' Sooyun bent down to pick up the pieces of the sharp glasses.

''Huh? No...no, you didn't.'' Junhyung quickly held her arm to stop her from picking up. ''Don't! You'll cut yourself. The maids can handle it later.''

Sooyun nodded and sat on the couch, facing him. ''I heard you came home an hour ago. How come I didn't see you?'' She asked.

''Because I didn't look for you. I just wanted to chill here.''

''Oh....okay....'' Sooyun said and looked away. Junhyung peered at her and then quickly looked away. He then turned his head to her again and furrowed his brows.

''A-are you going to sit here too?'' He stuttered.

Sooyun looked at him for a second confused. ''Well, yeah? But if you wanted to be alone....I can go.'' She was going to go up but Junhyung stopped her.

''No...sit. I mean it doesn't matter for me.'' He said camly. Sooyun hesitantly sat down. Junhyung tried his best to not look at her and focused on the tree behind her instead.

''Alec called me today...'' Sooyun finally broke the awkward silence.

''Oh, really?'' Junhyung looked at her but then looked quickly away. ''How nice.'' He nodded his head.

''He wants to meet with me...'' She said and looked at him. ''He said that he has something important to say but I said that I'll talk with you first and ask if-''

''You should go.'' He quickly said, interrupting her. Sooyun raised her eyebrows as she looked at him surprised. He looked away and focused on the tree again 

''I mean, it's not like we are married for real.'' He looked at her. ''Right?''  

Sooyun lifted her head up and nodded. ''....yeah''

''We live differently, our viewpoint of having fun is different, our personalities is different......right?'' He glanced at her again.

''.....right''

''I think we shouldn't see each other when the others aren't around, so let's not hang out together anymore...'' He shifted his gaze from the tree to her. ''What do you say?''

Sooyun stared at him for a moment. She didn't know why she froze for a second. She cleared and changed her sit position. 

''What can I say? Best suggestion so far.'' She forced a smile and looked away. Why did she found his words so hurtful?

Junhyung was looking at the tree again and brushed his fingers on his chin. ''So you're going to meet with Alec, huh?'' He looked at her again.

''...yes''

He looked away and let out a small sigh ''Great....fantastic........Alec is a good kid. Besides you're childhood friends...I mean...it's good.............great''

Sooyun couldn't help but to stare at him. He was starting to act strange again.

The two sat in the yard in hours, not really talking, just some simple questions with short answers. The sky was dark now and the weather became chilly. Junhyung didn't move at all from his place. He was still sitting on the same chair with the same position. The only thing that changed for the past hours was Junhyung's examination of another tree.

''Can I ask you something?'' Sooyun was the one who broke the silence again. Junhyung turned his gaze from his new tree and looked at her.

''Lately, you have started to act so strangely...''

''W-where do you get this thoughts from?'' He said and looked away again. It wasn't a question.

''But you're saying strange things.''

''No, I don't.'' He said without looking away from the tree. ''I'm fine, don't worry.''

''Mr.Junhyung, Your father-in-law is calling.'' One of the maids suddenly came and handed him the phone. Junhyung furrowed his brows and looked at Sooyun questioning. Sooyun shrugged her shoulders, signaling that she has no idea. He cleared his throat and pressed the phone on his ear.

''Annyeonghaseyo abuji......oh, yes......yes abuji...no no, i'm not busy....okay, yes we'll come....neh, have a good night....yes I'll...bye'' He pressed the the end button and looked at Sooyun.

''And we just decided to not hang out together anymore, great'' He muttered quietly.

''What? What did he said.?'' Sooyun asked.

''He invited us to dinner tomorrow night.'' He said.

''We don't have to go. I can say that you couldn't make it, that you were busy.'' She said when she saw his bored face.

''Aniyo, one lie is enough already.'' He said, implying to their marriage. ''Besides we have never gone. They would be disappointed in us.'' Junhyung noticed the big bright smile on Sooyun's face. Her eyes suddenly sparkled.

''You know what Junhyung? I'm starting to actually like you. You're not so bad afterall.'' She said smiling. Junhyung gazed at her for a second, taken aback of her heartwarming smile. His heart reacted immediately.

''You're always surprising me, Junhyung'' She stood up from her chair and stood infront of him, making him look up to her.

''Sometimes good and sometimes bad. I can't figure you out.'' She looked deeply into his yes and smiled. She then headed to the house, leaving him there alone.

Junhyung slowly put his hand on his chest. He felt his heart thumping hard. With speedy and heavy breaths he watched her back. He bit his bottom lip.

''If only I could figured it out too...'' He murmured and closed his eyes.
