Their eyes met yet again and locked in a gaze. They stayed like that for who knows how long— with Tiffany still standing by the door and Taeyeon seated at the back of the room by the window. It seems like none of them wanted to break the gaze until Tiffany did when she heard the sound of heels getting close. And it was from their teacher. Tiffany slowly went to her seat, which made her feel uncomfortable because it is the seat in front of Taeyeon’s.   For the rest of the class, two minds were wandering off somewhere else...somewhere that is far from where they are currently at. They were only brought back to reality when the ringing of bell awakened them from their interesting journey in their thoughts. For ther rest of the classes before their lunch break, both Tiffany and Taeyeon spent their time daydreaming. How I wish I could skip and go somewhere else but I know better than get caught yet again. All eyes on the mysterious, rebel transferee again. Me. It's been months, seriously. Until when would they keep staring at me like I am some kind of an amusing, walking entertainment for them? I sat at the empty table close to the door that leads to the school garden.   I don't really eat lunch at school or whatever. I took the apple that I grabbed this morning out and my pocket knife too. I played with both, tapping my pocket knife on the table as I roll the apple in my hand.   I heard that familiar laughter. Oh, it is like music to my ears and I don't even know why it feels as such. I saw her walking with a tray of food in her hands. She glanced at me, I know it because our eyes met again for the nth time today. Those eyes. I can't even find the reason why i find her this interesting at all. Yes, she is indeed beautiful. No doubt about that. But there's something else about her that wanted to draw me closer to her. And, I am a coward. I am afraid because with her status in this school, I doubt that she would even give me a chance to speak to her as her friends, especially her boyfriend, are a bunch of bullies and nitwits. Oh well. It's not like I am even planning on approaching her.   She and her friends sat at the table across mine. I saw her glancing at my direction a few times. I just shrugged it off. I started cutting slices of the apple from my hand and ate it. Until, a teacher approached me.   "Kim Taeyeon. You know that you are not allowed to bring weapons like that. Hand me that. And go with me to the principal's office."    I sighed and handed my pocket knife to her, picked up my bookbag and slung it on my shoulder before following her. All eyes on me again. I c
