Kristi’s POV

I walked towards the entrance of the school and see the office. I walk in and gave a warm smile to the secretary. She returned the smile.

“Good morning, Kristi-imnida! I’m new to the school and would like to pick up my schedule, please,” I said very politely.

“Of course! Please wait for a moment while I print out your schedule,” she told me and left. I guess the teachers here are very nice and polite. Why can’t the students be like this? The secretary came back and gave me my schedule. I have Language Arts first. One of my worst subjects, but I always pass with an A.

I waited outside the classroom quietly while I waited for my teacher to give me a signal to come in. Mrs. Kim seemed really nice.

“ Okay, students take your seats. We have a new student joining the class today, please welcome her,” I hear Mrs. Kim say and I took that as my signal to go in. I walked into the class, nervously I faced the front.

“Annyeonghaseyo, I’m Kristi B. Please take care of me!” I said with a little hope that the class will like me. After I finished, I only see one girl looking at me and smiling while a few guys wooed.

“Okay, Kristi, why don’t you take a seat next to Jolie? Jolie, please raise your hand,” I looked towards the front and see a girl shyly raising her hand. She was the girl who was smiling at me! We both introduced ourselves and focused in class. After 45 minutes, the bell rang. I was walking out the door to go to my locker. Number 1269. Okay, that isn’t too far from here
