"Here, I made you some tea," Sil Lo claimed, her voice soft as she set the cup on the bedside table.

The idol buried under the covers shifted slightly so that her head could poke out from under her comforter, giving a croak of thanks before the older woman left the room, being careful not to disturb Velma who was sleeping in the doorway.

Miyong sat up in the bed and rubbed her eyes, Dexter poking his head out from under the comforter as well. She reached over and took the tea cup in both of her hands, allowing the heat to warm her hands and the calming aroma to fill her senses.

Although only a single night had gone by after Miyong's confession, the girl was feeling slightly better about the whole ordeal. Sure, she still managed to shed a few tears and whimper when she thought about it, but it didn't fell like her soul was being carved out with a putty knife anymore. Just like Charlie had told her; she was a tough cookie, no matter what the outcome, in the long run she was glad that she did it.

"Speaking of Charlie…" the girl hummed.

Miyong shifted on the bed to reach down and scoop up her skirt off of the floor and pull her phone out of her pocket. She unlocked it and scrolled through her contacts before pressing 'CALL', Dexter climbing up onto her lap while purring making her smile and pat the top of his head.

"Herroo~"

"…hey Charmander…" Miyong greeted with a small smile.

There was silence on the other end making the idol raise an eyebrow and pull the phone away from her ear to make sure that her friend hadn't hung up on her. "Hello?"

"He said no huh?" Charlie sighed.

Miyong whined and nodded her head with a pout, Charlie sighing from the other end.

"I know I called him a player last time, but now he's just a jackass…"

"Charlie!" Miyong barked with a glare. "It's no fault of his that he didn't feel the same way. You better not get angry at him for it; I already had to tell Jongdae not to do anything to him… poor Oppa…"

Charlie let out a bark of laughter making Miyong smile and give out a small laugh as well.

"So? How're you holding up so far? Do I need to send you pictures of Doougie at my 20th again?" Charlie asked with a slight chuckle.

"Oh god, please don't," Miyong laughed, her eyes closing form second hand embarrassment upon remembering the photos.

"Well, what can I do to make you feel better-wait! I have an idea, don't go anywhere and don't hang up!"

Before the idol could even give her answer she could hear Charlie moving around on the other end of her phone and talking to someone after a few moments.

"Mei, say hi!" Charlie laughed, a grin no doubt on her face. "Actually wait, I'll put it on video call…"

Miyong pulled her phone away from her ear and answered the call, her eyes widening when she saw a very familiar face next to Charlie's shoulder.

"Mander! You didn't tell me Mei got hot!!" the girl barked, slapping the blond on the shoulder.

Miyong couldn't help but laugh as the two began arguing, bringing back memories form their childhood.

"My Lo-Lo~~" she sang, happy tears beginning to brim her eyes.

"Excuse you!" the girl ripped the phone from Charlie's hands and moved it so that she was fully in the shot and glared at her. "Who said you're allowed to cry! Charlie said you got dumped! Who is he? I'll throttle him!"

Miyong couldn't help but burst out laughing, covering her face with her unoccupied hand as the girl continued to rant about impending death.

"Well screw him Mei; I'll date you instead! Let's be honest; I'd make a fantastic boyfriend!" the girl claimed, proudly placing a hand on her chest.

"Beaner! Gimme my phone back!" Charlie barked from off screen.

"You're the one who told me to make her feel better!" the girl barked back, glaring at the blond.

"Hey… Lauren…?" Miyong began, a nervous tone in her voice.

The girl's head instantly turned back to the phone to give the idol her full attention, blue eyes wide and focused.

"I'm… I'm sorry… for what I did back before I moved… I should have list-"

"If you're going to apologize for blacklisting me, don't bother. I was bothered by it at first, but I figured that you can't keep me blacklisted when you're not here to keep it in check," Lauren interrupted with a grin. "Besides, after you moved away your parents all but adopted Charlie and I. I painted your room by the way; pink wasn't really my colour."

"You better not have-"

"It's a nice green now~" Lauren sang, a teasing grin stretched across her lips.

Miyong let out a mix between a growl and a whine, clutching her hair with her hand making Lauren and Charlie laugh.

"Of all the colours, you make it green!? Whyyyyy~~?" Miyong whined.

"Because you haven't used it in nearly ten years; it was time for a change. That and it's a Dao Ming deterrent; she doesn't like green either," Lauren claimed with a grin.

Miyong gave another small whine with a pout making her and Charlie laugh again.

The trio continued to talk for what seemed like hours. Miyong told Lauren about her idol life, which she had apparently heard all about already from Charlie after the giant returned to Canada and about the EXO boys, including Xiumin rejecting her feelings for him and Chen comforting her.

"Dawwwww… can you date him instead?" Lauren cooed. "If not can I have him?"

"LAUREN!" Miyong gapped, a small laugh in her voice.

"What?? I'm still single because Doougie asked Charlie out first and she refuses to two-time and you're over in South Korea; I'm lonely!" Lauren whined, a pout on her face.

Miyong couldn't help but laugh as Charlie patted the smaller girl on the head with a grin on her face.

"There there Beaner; you'll find your hunny eventually, you're just a late bloomer," Charlie snickered.

Lauren hummed and shrugged, turning her attention back to the screen on Charlie's phone.

"But seriously… do you want me to swim over and kick his apparently very nice booty for you?" Lauren asked with a straight face.

"CHARLIE!!!" Miyong roared, her glare instantly set on the now howling blond. "I can't believe you told her that!!"

"I don't see it Mei… I personally like Tao's bum better, but to each their own I guess…" Lauren continued, Charlie's laughter only getting louder.

Miyong covered her face with her hand. "Lo-Lo please stop; they're like brothers to me. If you keep saying stuff like that I'll never look at them the same way again…"

"Also, how come Sehun likes going commando so much? I mean, have you seen the History dance practise video? I thought it was going to reach through the screen and slap me across the face…"

By now Charlie had fallen off of the bed from rolling over and laughing so hard, Miyong's face going even more beat red when the blue eyed girl began singing 'I'm Not Wearing Underwear' from Avenue Q.

"Holy , Beaner don't stop, I love it!" Charlie howled from the floor.

"Have either of you noticed that Baekhyun has a girl crotch? Sehun's slaps you in the face but it's like a game of Where's Waldo with Baek. I mean, even D.O has something there. Which brings me to Kai-"

"NO! You say nothing about my Jonginnie!" Miyong barked. "The others I can handle but-"

"Does he have a split personality or something?" Lauren continued, ignoring her friend's warning. "Whenever he's on things like a show or even from what Charlie told me about him while she was over there, he's like a fluffy puppy, but when he's on stage he's grinding on nothing and biting his lips and just being very ually frustrating. Can you tell him to either stop or just pick one?"

Miyong dropped her phone onto her lap as her face burned, attempting to keep the mental images of her dongsaeng out of her head.

"I should start a Tumblr or something: 'I have a connection with a connection with EXO: Fire your questions'! Can you imagine all of the followers I'd get?"

"Can you imagine all of the ridiculous questions and anon hate you'd get?" Charlie laughed.

"Guuuuuyysssss!!" Miyong whined, her face still buried in her hands.

The two laughed making her peek at the screen through her fingers to see the two of them had formed a heart with their hands.

"We love you Mei Hwa~~!" they both sang with grins plastered on their faces.

Miyong couldn't help them smile that almost instantly stretched across her face.

It felt just like it did eight years ago, before she had been accepted into SM Entertainment when she was 13. Charlie, who was two years her senior, and Lauren, who was one year her junior, had been her best friends since preschool and they had made a lot of memories and laughter together. It lifted her spirits to talk to both of them together again after so long; as if nothing had changed.

"Miyong-ssi…"

The idol turned to see Sil Lo standing in her doorway, glasses on the top of her head and hair up in a messy bun.

"You have visitors…" the woman claimed.

"Ah, alright Unnie, thank you," Miyong nodded.

Sil Lo nodded back and left her doorway as the idol returned to her phone in time to hear Charlie translating for Lauren.

"Visitors? If it's Xiumin tell him to kiss his baozi goodbye!" Lauren barked, a fierce look on her face.

"What if it's Chen?" Charlie laughed.

"Then clearly there's something there and you should take full advantage of it," Lauren replied, winking at Miyong.

The idol simply rolled her eyes at her friends and sat up from her bed. "It doesn't matter who it is, because either way I have to go see and more than likely talk to them. I'll call you guys another time, alright?"

"Aight~! Talk to you later Mei~!" Charlie sang, quickly stealing the phone out of Lauren's hand.

"Excuse you Sasquatch, I wasn't done yet!" Lauren barked. "Mei Hwa if you require my fists of fury call me!"

Miyong laughed as she hung up the phone and placed it on her bedside table. She reached down and slid her skirt back on and flattened out her shirt before leaving her room, Dexter following after her as well as Velma once they passed her in the doorway.

"China~~ Hello kitty cat~!"

Miyong paused for a moment before beaming at the familiar voice, quickly walking around the corner to see Baekhyun, Kai and Chen standing in the small foyer, Baekhyun having knelt down so that he could pet the Oriental as she greeted the guests.

"What are you guys doing here?" Miyong asked with a laugh.

"We heard what happened from Chen so we wanted to come over and make sure you were alright," Baekhyun claimed, thumbing towards their friend.

"That and we wanted to see if there was anything we could do to make you feel better Noona," Kai smiled, giving her an understanding look.

"The others wanted to come too but they had schedules," Chen added, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"You guys are really sweet, and I appreciate the sentiment, but you didn't have to come over and check up on me," Miyong smiled, walking over to them. "I actually was just talking to Charlie and another friend and they made me feel a bit better-"

"So basically you're kicking us out after we just got here? How rude," Chen huffed, a grin tugging on the corners of his mouth.

"Come on Noona, let us do something for you," Kai booed, giving her a pout.

Miyong couldn't help but laugh and nod making the three give a whoop of excitement.

"Awesome, because we honestly had no idea what to do for you and when Tao told us to take you shopping-"

"Shopping!?" Miyong cheered, her eyes instantly brightening.

"Oh no, hyung you said the S word," Kai teased, nudging Baekhyun in the shoulder.

"Tao said that every time you two went shopping that you always seemed super happy, so we figured we'd try and take you shopping to try and lift your mood," Chen explained with a laugh.

"Yeah, but that's because Tao like shopping with me," Miyong laughed, "I highly doubt you guys would enjoy it; I'm a very stereotypical girl when it comes to that."

The three boys exchanged a few looks before nodding, Baekhyun entering a dramatic bow with his arm out to the side.

"My lady, we would be happy to carry your shopping bags for you on this lovely evening," he grinned, Chen and Kai mimicking his stance.

Miyong couldn't help but laugh and nod. "Just let me change and we can go."

"Kyaaaa~! Omo it's so cuuute~!" Miyong squealed, dashing over to a dress store and taking one of the dresses off of the rack. "I want iiiiiiiit~!"

The boys sighed and fixed their hats on their heads as Miyong continued to fawn over the dresses outside the store.

"This is all your fault," Baekhyun groaned, glaring at Chen. "It was your brilliant idea to take her out shopping to try and cheer her up and now we'll never get to go home!"

"It's not that bad, stop whining!" Chen huffed. "Besides this isn't about you or any of us; Miyong got hurt and since we're practically her brothers it's our job to make sure she gets better."

Baekhyun continued to pout making Chen huff and Kai laugh.

"Jonginnie come here! I found a really nice scarf that you might like~!" Miyong called out, waving towards the group.

"Ya! Why does Kai get something bought for him but not us?" Baekhyun barked as Kai walked over.

"Because all I can hear is you complaining about coming here in the first place; Jongin hasn't said a peep against it," Miyong shot back.

"What about me??" Chen called out.

"I'll think about it~" she sang, sticking her tongue out at him with a smirk.

"YA!"

Miyong laughed and quickly tugged Kai after her into the store, Chen pouting after the duo ad Baekhyun laughed, patting his friend on the shoulder.

"Well Chen, if she's back to teasing you, I think she's feeling much better."

Yay for feel goods~. Whenever you feel bad it's nice to have friends who are willing to go to lengths to make you happy and feel better(I have a few of those and I love them for it)
