Chapter 5
Cheonsa
As Kai sat on his bed the next morning, for the next 30 minutes all he could do was stare at the piece of paper. It just a small scrap but to Kai it was meaningful.
Yoona trusted him.
He marveled at the fact that now he had her number he could talk to her whenever he wanted to. He pulled his phone out and typed her number in. He was about to save it as Yoona but he wanted a different name for her.
'Hmm tommorow's Friday I'll ask her then.' He thought to himself. He was way too nervous to send her a text now. Mostly because he was afraid. Having a crush on a girl was a new experience for him and he had no idea what to do. Plus what if he seemed too forward?
He stared at his phone like the idiot he was. Never once did he believe he could fall for a girl like Yoona.
'Maybe because she reminds you of Umma' He thought.
Kai didn't know if that was true but what he did know was that Yoona was able totouch his heart like no other girl could.

The next day was a complete drag to Kai. Of course it would be. He wanted to see Yoona and last period was the only class he had with her.
Even if he tried to see her during lunch break it was almost impossible with EXO. They had caught him so many times looking at her he avoided going outside even near Yoona.
It was clear to everyone about his infatuation with Yoona and Sehun loved teasing him about it. Kai never teased Sehun though. Mostly because he didn't understand Sehun's relationship.
When the bell rang it was Kai's relief. Finally
He waited outside of the Calculus class since he was always the first one out. He planned on picking Yoona up but she came out with company. Taemin and Yuri were clinging to her like sloths.
Kai's eyes narrowed at his cousins. Taemin was so obvlious in his own little world he didn't now about Kai's true feelings.
As much as Kai tried to get Yoona's attention she couldn't see him. He had to send out a text to her. He pulled his phone out and nervously typed away.
Are you free today?-Kai
Before he could regret it he sent it. He panicked. What if she doesn't answer?
But his worry was only for a bit because he got a new message right away.
Of course, Kai where are you?-Cheonsa
Kai smiled at how quick she had responded. He texted back.
Right behind you-Kai
Kai stuffed his phone back in his pocket and walked behind Yoona who now turned around facing him. Today she was dressed in a pleated skirt and white long sleeve shirt. Kai noticed her hair wasn't braided today. Although he preferred when her hair was in a braid she looked beautiful either way.
"Hi," She greeted him smiling happily when she reached him. Already perspiring, Kai greeted her.
"Well let's go then," Kai flashed a smile as they walked together. Hyorin had witnessed the whole event and couldn't help but sulk.She did not like that girl Yoona at all. The minute she stepped into the Calc class all the attention that was on her was all gone.
She was the queenka and no one else would take her place. "Let's see how long this'll last."

Entering the library Yoona was quick to find a table for the two of them. She set her books down and sat across from Kai.
"We should start with the homework. Right?" She looked up at Kai innocently. "Right," He blinked dazed. How am I suppose to study with such a pretty tutor in front of me?
Yoona pulled her textbooks and notebooks out and Kai followed her.
Kai's brain fuzzled as he stared at the problem. He remembered sin and cosine from Trig but everything else was freshly new to him.
Yoona saw his disheartened look as he stared the problem. She got up and went around and stood next to him. "It's not that difficult all you have to do is try," She said softly. She picked up her pen and did a brief review of lim.
"First divide each term by X," Yoona said pointing to the problem. Kai did as he was told. As she continued to instruct him to the problem he realized this problem wasn't as hard as he thought.
"The limit is 1/4," He suddenly said looking at Yoona. Her eyes widened and she broke in a sudden smile. "Kai, that's right!" I looked at her astonished. "Really?" She nodded.
"I thought you said you weren't good in Calc," she stated walking back to her seat. Kai smiled sheepishly at her. "I'm not."
"But you got it right fairly quickly." She noted. He shrugged my shoulders. "Maybe I got lucky..." I was always afraid of math and never had the urge to actually try.
"But Kai don't you see? You're smart. All you need to do is try," Yoona spoke. He looked up from the math problem and looked at Yoona. This is the first time someone called me smart...
"Okay I'll try," For you
She smiled that warm smile she always gave Kai. For some reason she gave this smile only to him. It was meant for him.
"How about this," she suggested coming closer. "The next test if you can get a good grade on it, I'll treat you." She proposed getting excited.
"To anything?" He asked his eyes lighting up. She nodded eagerly. "Even a date?"He blurted out. KAi froze. That was suppose to be in my head not out loud.
He looked at Yoona carefully reading her expression but she didn't seem bothered by it. A date? I've never been on a date before though.
"Sure," She said smiling as if she knew what he meant but she had no clue what people do on a date. She had been home schooled all her life how would she know what a date was? It's not like she ever had a boyfriend or even take an interest in a guy ever before.
"Really?" Kai asked surprised by how chic her expression was. Yoona nodded. "I don't know what people do on a date though," She confessed. If Kai really did get a good grade she wanted to do her best on their date.
Kai looked at her as if she was bluffing. "You've never been on a date before?" Yoona shook her head. "But you're so pretty," Kai said quietly hoping Yoona didn't hear. Fortunately she didn't.
"Well...on dates people go out to watch movies, go shopping, they go to the park people do alot of things," Kai said slightly blushing.
"Ah, okay so they just hang out." Yoona said finally understanding. Kai couldn't help but smirk. It was a smile type smirk. She was so innocent.
"Ok, its a deal then, you pass a test and I'll take you on a date."
A/N- HOW WAS THIS CHAPTER? Does it feel really rushed to you guys? lemme now and I'll slow it down for ya LOL. well ok its 9:30 here and i need to get ready for skoo tommorrow. UGH KILL ME. I DIDNT DO MY ENGLISH HW AND MY TEACH WILL FLIP. okay guys enjoy!
