"Come on! Mentoring will be fun!" Jesse urged you again over the phone.

"But, I don't wanna wake up early to go! And what if I'm the only newbie?" You whined.

"You won't be, I promise!" Jesse sounded urgent over the phone. "And anyway, you can leave whenever you want okay? Just tell the sensei in charge, she's nice enough anyway..."

'It's already 9:03!" You glanced at your watch as Jesse set his bag down in the room. "You said they'll be here at 9!"

"Oh come on, I only arrived at 9:02, and stop being so grumpy."

"Well, when I say 9:00. I am here at least 5 minutes early. You're wasting my TV time, Jesse." You probably were PMSing but at that point in time, you could care less. All you wanted to do was sleep and hide under the covers of your warm futon, not be out here in school waiting for some mentoring retreat to start.

"They DID say they were going out for breakfast..." Jesse mumbled. "Anyway, I have a geography test to study for, so call me when they're here!" He disappeared into an empty classroom.

"I'm Okamoto Kauan, and I'm a student here at Horikoshi High. I joined mentoring last year in July and am not going to stop anytime soon. I love kids, so thats probably why I stayed." A tall brown-haired boy looked around the room, making eye contact with everyone.

You took a deep breath and introduced yourself. "...and I like making new friends and helping others out. Teachers 'mold' us to become who we are so I want to help 'mold' these kids so that they are on the same playing field as everyone else because all children deserve an education." The other mentors nodded and it moved on the Jesse, who had convieniently disappeared off to the washroom.

"AHHHHHH" Jesse screamed as Kauan threw a cup full of water at him during the ice-breaking games. 

'MUA HA HA HA HA!" Taiga, another mentor grabbed the whole bucket of soapy water and started flinging it around. "Who isn't wet yet! GET THEM WET!" The boys were all really high during the game, while the girls were backing away slowly.
