You sighed as you wiped the window panes of your classroom. It was a Friday afternoon; there were so many other more enjoyable things to do on a Friday afternoon than cleaning the classroom after school. It’s all Shintaro’s fault, you thought, annoyed as you bent down to dip the cleaning rag in a pail of water for the umpteenth time that afternoon. After all, he was the one who forgot his presentation materials at the last minute and had to run all the way back home to get it. Both of you were supposed to be doing a pair presentation during the first period and were supposed to be the first ones presenting, but by the time you got to school, the lesson had already started. Luckily, the teacher still let you both do your presentation in the end, but as punishment, you were to clean the classroom with Shintaro after school.
